I just finished the demo and I loved it. However, I did notice a few bugs I think:
When you go into the castle to fight the demon in the first room with the piano and you click on the piano cut scene and then try to go through the door the game freezes completely. I got around this by clicking the piano cut scene, leaving the room the way I came in and then going back inside, then going straight through to the next room. I'm not sure if this is something that is happening to anyone else, it could just be my computer causing the game to freeze, but it happened in the hallway when I was about to be killed by the creature also. Also, ditto on the bath error.

I also saw a random girl in front of the entrance to the vampire forest, but she didn't really do anything but twitch when I clicked on her.

That's all I can think of. Really, all of these things didn't matter too much because I was pretty addicted to this game when I was playing it. The characters and the story really kept my interest. Can't wait for the next update!
Okay, I fixed the door issue in the castle entrance, but I still can't seem to replicate the bath problem. Also what exactly happened in the hallway with the creature?

Hmm. I tried replicating it (it was after I was defeated by the Behemoth) and it seems to be working alright now, just a bit laggy. So this might just be my computer at this point.

Tess

I really enjoyed this game. The atmosphere created from the music and the characters left a kind of melancholy impression on me after I played it. I really wish there was more to it, it was good but far too short, and it left a lot open.

Ok first of all thank you for your input. The key is the four digit code, I'm sorry I didn't make it clear enough. As for the other ending: there is one clue and you have to really investigate what it says. Let's just say that part was taken from certain adventure gaming experiences.

Doh! Of course that was the key. Sorry about that haha. Funny enough, after you said that I decided to
go back to the skeletons and click on them again. One bug that I noticed was I was able to go through to fight the store owner but right when I was about to fight him an error message popped up saying: Unable to find file: Graphics/Battlebacks1/DirtCave. I downloaded the game again to see if maybe something went wrong in my other download and it came up with the same game-breaking error. It wasn't that bad of a bug since all I had to do to fix it was change one of the Dirt file names to DirtCave to get it to play the battle sequence but I thought I'd let you know anyway.

As for the endings. I kind of felt like they were lacking something. You know, like there should have been a lot more to them, especially the Good Ending. I had so many questions about this realm and who that other monster was (since she didn't see him again in the Good Ending). So I thought that although the endings weren't bad, they seemed a little abrupt and could have explained things a bit more in my opinion.

I think what the game exceled more at though was invoking a type of feeling or creating a tense, frustrating, suspenseful experience, which I enjoyed a lot. So overall this wasn't bad for a first game! As purely a game player, not a developer at all, I thought it was interesting while it lasted.

Breathless

Hi, I would love to finish this game because it sounds like there is a lot more to the story but I keep getting stuck
at the part where I can exit out of the front door because mother catches me once I leave. I still have a locked bed room door and can't seem to find the key...hmm.

The Vastness

I really like the suspense-like atmosphere of this game. The music was pretty nerve-wracking at times. As frustrating as wandering around was at first I couldn't stop because I needed to know what this was all about. I got the normal ending, but for some reason I can't seem to get the other one...
I'm guessing I have to find the key that the shop owner was talking about. I keep wanting to go into that empty room because I think it's going to show me something but now I'm wondering if you put that in there just to confuse. xD If that was your intention then good job.

I'm actually really hoping we get a chance to see more of Shelby and Penelope again. >w< Their back stories are so sad, I really want to see them have a happy ending darn it.
Oh gosh this makes me wonder what endings you got for them! Each survivor has a few different endings depending on your answers and actions in their respective biomes.

Hmm, well I noticed that there were changes to Shelby's form based on what answer I gave him when I was saying goodbye. For Penelope she ended up luring the monsters away from me, "sacrificing" herself to save us. This makes me want to turn back now and see if I can get a better one than that, though. Yay for separate saves

This game was fun to play. :) I enjoyed the music and art style a lot. I also really liked the characters and I hope we get a chance to learn more about them and they're backgrounds, etc as time goes on.

Anyway, it's a good thing when a short game (although this one was a nice length for a demo) can get you attached to the characters and eager to find out what happens next. Keep up the good work!

Ayumi

Hello, I love scifi horror and I especially loved Deadspace so I'm pretty excited to be playing this game. It's been interesting so far, but I found a bug I think:
When I enter into Ayumi's former therapy room I can't get out. Once I try to leave the screen goes black for a second but then the same room appears again except I'm stuck in the door and can't move anywhere. I've had to just go back to my save point and start over.

Good Bye Rebeca

Nevermind,
I got past this part by doing the tasks out of order (getting the rope from her house first) so that I could make a beeline from the lake to the cave where Rebeca was.
