We're very good at chopping up sprites and smashing them together to have a whole new sprite to play with~

Whoops, that may indeed be a bug! Let me double check this... whoops indeed! For some reason if you had your arrows turned on, the Fade In event wasn't there, haha. I'll have the fix up there by mid-week I promise. Just remember, turn off arrows before you leave the shrine next time!

Star Stealing Prince

No, there won't be an RPG Maker sequel to this game. I haven't felt like making a straight up RPG in a while and when I do, I'd like to make a wholly new game. Regardless, the story I envisioned didn't work as an RPG, hence the change in format.

I'm glad you enjoyed the game! Here's hoping when I make more games, you'll be just as interested.

Edchuy: Actually, PM Died your save and he can look at it later. The guild quests for some reason like to break our game.

Star Stealing Prince Review

Darn, I've been really trying to nerf the enemies at the beginning. I even played through my latest version and I must have the luck of an angel or something as they never stunned me once (and only put me to sleep once before it hit Snowe over the head and woke him up). I have been planning a new version for a while and taken your thoughts about the opening battles into consideration, I've fiddle with the monsters in the tower a bit more. Hopefully they stop beating Snowe to a pulp.

As for the secret passages, haha, whoops? They aren't in EVERY area of the game :P but I must say I really liked them which is why they are prevalent. As per my original plan before I read this review, I was going through and making sure there was some indicator that there is a hidden path. Some areas already had them (dirt path leading right into a wall, etc.) but now I've made sure each and every one has some kind of indicator (a lighter tile to catch your eye, etc.) because of what you've said. Should have done this from the beginning, but some things slip my mind. While I'm sure the indicators won't appease your opinion, I hope that it can at least alleviate some headache for any other player who may not like them.

I'm sorry the game almost drove you away (the beginning of games are the hardest for me to balance and clearly I'll probably never get this right), but I'm glad you stuck with it. Thank you for the review!
