I forged three Aqua Rings to help me out in the fight against the Whalemage, but they don't seem to have any noticeable effect on the damage of his water skills. Is this a mistake? Did I get the wrong ring?

One of the listed recipes for Kingslime is Slime + Slime... and yet, the only way to create a Slime involves using a Slime in the process.
Therefore, am I to believe that at some point in the game I will be offered the chance to breed with an NPC Slime?
I'm planning to create Hargon, and all the possible routes I'm seeing really hinge on my ability to breed with a Slime somewhere down the line.

Several of the games on the site that look incredibly good to me only offer .rar files from their download links... and after a good month and a half of trying and failing I still can't get any of them to a playable state ;_;
I've looked up all the tutorials from every room in the internet dungeon, to no avail. I have the RTP and everything, but my computer still won't let me open the game without trying to do it with Windows Media Player.
Am I missing something?
