1) Able to manipulate my hair and move each individual thread as if it were a limb. Though there is a limit to how hair I can move my hair, the distances I can stretch it to defy the laws of physics.
I use this power to attack people using my hair as a giant fist, and occasionally suffocate them with it. As such I'm a long range fighter who can be taken down quite quickly if you get in close.

3) Blue skin, lots of curly hair, left eye covered by hair. Skater-ish clothes.
4) Bugger it, I'll even up the Captins side of things.

Pokemon Platnium
I've downloaded Platinum. I might give it a go but it looks like it'll be the exact same game repackaged...

Shmeckie's Comic Art and Character Sketches!
The anatomy on that woman is fantastic, as are the clothes folds! I would say that one of her eyes looks a little lopsided though, and I'm not a big fan of how you've done her hair. Compared to the rest of the image it doesn't feel quite as bold.
As for the vampire, whilst I appreciate there's a reason his ears are as they are, they just throw the rest of the image off. The amount of detail in them and their irregular shape pulls my eyes directly to them and keeps my eyes there, rather than allowing me to freely look around the image as a whole.
I'd also say that his hair makes his head look too much like a sphere. I can't tell if it's because it goes around the back of his head too soon, or if the space between his eyebrow and his hair line. The image also reminds me strongly of Akira.
You've got talent though! I'm impressed. Be good to see some more of your stuff. If you don't mind my asking, how old are you?

There are entire forums devoted to people who try and get as many points as possible. Achievement hunters exist all over the net, who specifically organise games with each other and arrange to help each other unlock certain achievements. They seem to genuinely enjoy playing for achievements, and a lot of them won't play a game they don't like just for points.
I recently joined a Halo boosting group in a session for the fun of it. It was really enjoyable, and I made some new online friends chatting to them whilst we got some of the online achievements. We then played some serious games together and just enjoyed ourselves. Normally I wouldn't do things like that, but, I wanted to run around with the katana on my back - and that only unlocks after you get 1000.
On the other hand, I'm trading in the new Prince of Persia because I don't enjoy it. I'm not even going to finish it for the achievements because I'd be forcing myself through it.
As has been said, achievements aren't mandatory. You don't have to get them, they're just there for people who want them.

Thanks man. I suppose a lot of people do the optional parts of a game purely for the bragging rights, particularly with XBox Achievements and PlayStation Trophies.
I always liekd the idea of the achievement system. I feel it adds a certain replayability to games. I admit there are games where I've played them after being finished with them to grab a few achievements, and had fun doing them. I don't so much look at achievements as a way to increase the size of my online ego, but more a checklist. When I've gotten 1000 points on a game I know I've seen everything and been everywhere.
I'm not a Warcraft player though, so I've yet to see their take on the achievement system.
