This game really surprised me! I decided to make a Let's Play on it; I hope I can do better at it next time. I was so bad. xD

I think I need some Scripts
author=Kurisu
Now that I re-read your post I think I got you wrong in the first place. You don't want more than 4 party members to be active and participate in a battle simultaneously, what you are looking for is something like a menu option to switch between six characters while only 4 remain active, is that right?
Perhaps this is what you are looking for?
Easy Party Switcher
(...)
- easy to use and easy to switch party members
- supports any party size
- possible to fast-switch between the current and a stored party

Yes, THIS is what I wanted x3 Now I just have to figure out how to make it do what I want... ._.
I think I need some Scripts
Thank you both so much! This is really helpful. x3
@Kurisu I've been trying to follow the instructions, but I can't get it to work. I don't know what in the script and folders I need to add/change. I'm not good with scripting at all. I essentially know nothing.

I think I need some Scripts
There's some stuff I want to do in RPG Maker XP, but I don't know how to do it.
My game will include 6 party members. I kind of wanted them to be inter-changeable, kind of like the Tales of series or some FF games. The way it is now, I don't think it can have a roster of more than 4 characters in the party screen, let alone have you adjust their order.
I'm not good at scripting, and I'm not sure yet how different combat is going it be in the end, but the 6 party members is something I can't get around.
Some other minor things are have hot keys that open certain menus. Instead of going to Esc, I'd want WASD and maybe Q&E linked to inventory, equipment, spells, ect, and when I start the game, I can't seem to get around the character being visible for a split second. The game is supposed to start in a room and fade from black, but it starts in the room, then turns black, then fades from it.

Kidnapped
I couldn't even make it into the house. The opening/story is contrived, the backgrounds for the ENTIRE start of the game is literally nothing, none of the characters move; I was waiting for so long just to play the game that I simply gave up.
I'm shocked this has a 3 star rating. Grats for trying, but damn.

VorlorN
I don't know if I'm just daft, but I'm finding the controls a little hard to figure out. I can't figure out how to use shift and space to jump over the chasm.
It looks totally cool and I really want to keep playing.

Help with Passage/Priority
Help with Passage/Priority
Update:
It's so weird but it seems random what I can and can't walk through. For example, I can walk through a counter, and then another counter, the same tiles, I can't walk through. I can walk through the walls, so that isn't stopping me. It's so weird, and I don't know what to do... :(

Help with Passage/Priority
For some reason, my hero is walking through things not meant to be walked through, i.e. walls, objects, and so on.
The weird thing is it's not for every tileset; I have him outside and he can't walk through the proper things, but then he goes inside, using a different tileset, and now he can walk through everything. I have altered the passage for some things to suit what I want, but I've checked over and over and the passage, passage direction, and priority don't seem to be the problem.
I don't have it on Through, or the hero on Through, because nothing is set to do that. Any help?

Help a n00b with cutscenes... :(
Alright, I understand how to do that. :)
THAT was my problem! I just figured it out; I wanted negative space outside the room to be un-traversable so I set the blank tile to 'x'. That explains why the cut scene and the hero wasn't working.
I'll post additional details if those things don't work. :) Thank you so much!
One more thing; I don't know much about Variables. Could I set up that after a quest, let's say you get 1 point into variable 001, and you get more points for doing other quests into variable 001 that I could have an event at the end of the game that, based on the amount of variables you've collected, it could show multiple endings?
