I've always enjoyed playing JRPG's and I haven't seen any good releases lately. To help sate my desires I've picked up the RPG maker and perhaps I'll make something that's worth the time and money I spent!

Is expansive too expansive?
It largely depends on the travel system too. Players generally hate down-time so if you spread out content alot, and it takes too much time to get places they will eventually get bored.

Museum of Modern Art (New York) acquired a selection of 14 video games
It's interesting dwarf fortress got thrown in there. It's definitely unique (and I've played it).
I'm just happy to see some later titles on the list next to tetris and pac-man. It's interesting how little violence and gore is on the list. (It's practically non-existant)
I suppose art has to be appealing to be art in its most accepted forms.

Implementing that particular Yanfly script is not complicated, it's a simple copy and paste work. You don't need to know anything about programming at all.
Tried copy pasting the script thingy lots of times into the script editor and it just comes up with errors when I try to start the game.
What about enemy health bars, can these be added without scripts? :D
No, but there is a simple script that does it. When you download a script you can open it and read the instructions section. Some scripts require other "base scripts" to work properly. That's probably happening to you because most battle scripts work that way.

There's the yanfly channel with all his scripts. You can see there is a core engine on top, and then a battle engine script below. And then below the battle scripts section there is an enemy health bar script that uses the battle engine.
Basically anything that is indented to the right relies on the script above it on that page.

This is the sort of thing that comes about from all the overblown media coverage of horrible, rare incidents that are tragic and sometimes unavoidable. Not that you are acting this way because of all this horrid media coverage in the US obsorber, I don't even know if you live in the same country. I dunno it's like you nitpick all the negative things happening in the world and throw them in a pot and call it food poisoning.
It's really hard for me to comprehend how you've assembled all of those videos and suppositions. All I can say is to take everything with a grain of salt, even criticisms. Heck take this with some careful critical thinking nobody is perfect.

Can anyone direct me to a complete replacement set of item/effects icons for VX Ace? I'm using the High Fantasy Resource Pack and the original icons clash too much with it for my tastes.

All I've found so far in terms of icons so far are reskins of the default set by Timmah and a few other bits and pieces including swords etc. They're all similar to the default icon styles though. There aren't any item/effect icon sets included with that?
