Using RM2k Font Patch on RM2k3
The fonts are already installed, but they don't work for 2003, only 2000. That was why I asked if removing 2000 might cause the fonts to shift gears to 2003.
I tried reinstalling them directly, but my comp won't allow me to replace the ones installed already, nor will it let me remove them.

That's the thing; I'm not sure if there is one, since 2k & 2k3 are almost the exact same program.....

I seem to have run into a bit of a snag - when I try to fix the font on RM2k3 using the RM2k Font Patch, it doesn't work. Do I need a different patch, or am I missing something? Does still having RM2k on my comp make a difference? Should I get rid of that, then try again?

My apologies for double-posting, but I forgot to mention that PhanxGames' resource section will be down until they move it to a new server. It looks like a great site, though, and I can't wait to check it out once they move everything (since I just downloaded RM2k3 , and the site's specifically geared towards it & XP).

I've been looking at the various respurce sites (still going), and I noticed that phylomortis.com's domain name has, according to what popped up in the site's place, "expired, and is pending deletion or renewal". I just thought I'd share that to save everybody some time.

The font is fine; I fixed that with a patch I downloaded earlier. I mean trying to change what is being said in the dialogue boxes when the characters speak.

I am new to the RPGMaker program (I didn't know it existed until I passed a link while searching for something else), and I'm sure I'll be back here asking A LOT of other questions later, but two things I've been wanting to know:
*I have the 2000 edition, btw.*
(1) I'll use one chipset, then when I'm done using chips off of that one, I'll try to switch to another; when I do, all the chips I used turn into ones from the new chipset. How do I stop that from occurring? Or can I?
(2) I thank Don Miguel for translating the program (illegally or not), but his grasp on the English language is an eyesore; how can I change the dialogue in the blasted dialogue boxes on his sample game? I'd like to play it while having less stress on my brain from his almost-Engrish.
