Guide to custom graphics
To change stuff on the world map you have to change the files in the engine folder, SMBX/GRAPHICS. As opposed to your level folder, SMBX/WORLDS/LEVEL. If you want others to see it, they need to do the same or you can do what Talking Time Bros did and include a copy of the entire SMBX folder in the download.

Slash + V. It's a command. You run it by typing it in a message event. V stands for variable.
It will display the value stored in a variable, but you have to tell it which variable to look at.

-Now here's how this all works. During the introduction, you will show us who the protagonist is, what is normal, what changes normal, and what the protagonist decides to do.
We know who the protagonist is, we know where there character is; but how is the Desire introduced? This is "what changes normal".
-If your audience is teenage or young adult; then being RESOLUTE = Sadness. Your character will be unhappy or worse off by stick to their guns.
