Well, I don't know much about VX so I can't help you there. But maybe try a different script? Make a test map, small, and try it out on that to see if it crashes. If not then yup, it's your map.

What on earth do you look like? In your LT thread, some of your viewers commented on how your voice does not sound like they thought it would. Which means they know what you look like. Which is bothering me a lot more than it should. The only thing I can gander is that you are a bit on the weighted side, but that doesn't answer my question.
I just need a picture for visual reference.
HAHAHA Craze is a fatty! but seriously, he's not(from what I remember). There are pics of him in the post your picture thread I think. I'd say the reaction is based their impression of his posts in relation to his voice, and not a matter of how he looks.

Actually if I was playing that game it would take more than 2 minutes, you skipped through the text just a little too fast. heh. I tried to read it all without pausing the video and I usually missed the last sentence and read so fast that I didnt remember what it was about by the end of it. But it looks good. Only thing was when you started shading the areas black, because my eyes were on the text at the time, I didnt notice the first part of shading. It just looked like the text disappeared and the intro froze, then I realized it was shading different parts and it was fine. Not saying it's a problem, but that's how my eyes/brain reacted to it. At first I thought, it should be a different color to make it really stand out, but after seeing the effect of the darkness it makes sense the way it is. It could just be because I wasnt pressing the button to close the text box so I wasnt ready for it.

Huh?... well first of all don't create an epic story that will take long to tell. You could start the player off at a high level with many skills. It depends on how short you want it to be. I would say, no random battles to control how long it takes to get from point A to point B. If it was going to be about an hour long game, make most of the battles boss-like battles. Oh, and short but sweet maps with few dead-end treasure paths, put any treasure along the main route. OH, and super fast walk speed! xD

Using a gamepad with RPGmaker
When using a gamepad in RM2k3 you don't have to configure anything and the buttons are premapped. The first four buttons are the main three(accept,cancel,shift). However on my gamepad i have 4 shoulder buttons and 2 of them have SHIFT mapped to them. Is there a way to change this? Maybe disable the joystick support all together? I want to be able to use Joy2Key and map the number keys to all buttons but with the way it is now I only have 4 out of the 10 buttons on my gamepad to work with.
