Edit while you play

I just keep a pen and paper handy so I can write down what I need to fix as I'm playtesting.

Hero's Realm

I thought the same thing ;-;

What kind of weapon would you use?

I really think Magus from Chrono Trigger got me into a scythe as a weapon, but that's probably just because it looks cool.
Have you ever used a scythe? I have. They are heavy and unwieldly. A girl with a knife could take you out.

I used to participate in play battles as a kid, too. No teams, just free-for-all. If you got hit, you were "dead" and had to count to 30. We had wooden swords, short swords, daggers, axes (basically a cut broom pole with a plastic axe head from a Halloween prop taped on the end), katanas and "scythes" (hockey sticks),

In these games I found that the simple staff was most effective. Or two short swords.
We pretty much just got sticks, pretended they were swords, and beat the fuck out of each other.

Best and Worst Zelda Game

Best one was Ocarina of Time. I might say Majora's Mask if I played more than the first dungeon; my game froze as I was about to play the Song of Time, and I had to either RESTART THE WHOLE FUCKING DUNGEON... or return it to the friend I borrowed it from. Guess which one I chose. Ocarina of Time, however, was pretty cash. I still have the occasional nightmare about the bottom of the well.

Worst was Zelda 2. It was fun for a while, but maybe it was just too hard for me. I couldn't get past the first dungeon. I almost said Twilight Princess because of the tedious bug-hunting and rather slow pace, but it was still a great game.

What are you thinking about right now?

RIP Craze ;_;

RPG Maker games starting with the words "Tales of." Don't do that unless you're making a Tales fangame.

That's why i didn't download "Tales of Worlds" by Dark Gaia
It shouldn't put you off THAT much.

So...if there was a game called "Tales of Stupidity" you're expecting it to be a "Tales of..." fangame? I'm just saying, Tales is a pretty common "RPG Word" and of...is a pretty common word.

Plus, isn't there already a Tales of The World game out there?
Tales is a common word, yeah, but "Tales of ___" is a bad idea since there's already a major RPG series using those names.

And Tales of the World is a Tales subseries.

Favorite RM Game

Alright. Sausage-stroking-fest is GO.
2k3: Legacies of Dondoran. Solid plot-driven dungeon-crawler with a great skill system.
VX: Demon Tower. Not exactly an epic timeless adventure, but it's fun as hell and that's all that really matters. Oozing with Crazeness. Which is a very good thing.
XP: Tournament Hero. Not that it's really good, just that the only other game I played was Dark Eternal which combined frequent random battles, a crappy ATB system and paaaainfully slow walk speed. Not a recipe for a masterpiece.
