War's Remorse title
Okay I was wondering what you guys though of my current titlescreen for wars remorse and how do you think it could be improved.
Script: Encounter Areas
This isn't bad but this concept is very possible through events. Also I have seen better which use terrain tags and monster tpes (Angel, undead etc...) to create the scene and what monsters (dependent on the available troops) are accessable in particular areas.

how do you make a side scrolling game? with rpg maker 2000/2003
It can be own in rmxp fairly easily. I remember making a mario game. You don't really need any scripts just some good ideas on eventing and a few nice tilesets. However this is a nuisence and there are scripts available. As for rm2k/2k3 I have no clue because I started with rmxp.

First off what does the VX stand for? If it's fr Vista count me out. Also the graphics are shocking! They better let me import my own graphics because they suck! As for sideview I could make that on rmxp easily anyway so it ain't much of a jump. This thing also better have the full colour quality of rmxp otherwise I'm going to pit it. Also half sized graphics? Are they nuts! I think it would have been better if they went closer to Kaider sized sprites and have it set to a full screen rather than a 640x480. Seriously though I think I'll stick with rmxp!
Musical RPG?
Hey I now of a script that would totally match this idea. I think it's called the dance combat script (DCS) it works similar to those dance games here a button moves down the screen and you have to press it at the right time. Get it right and it's a critical hit and the words perfect come up. I think there is also Miss, Good and Great that appear but I can't remember what each do. I can't seem to find the script anywhere but I would suggest you take a glance for it.

Cool thanks. I actually came up with a game idea called the sketched swords which all totally hand drawn. In case you want an idea of scenes here is a whacked out tower from it.

Final Fantasy XII
FFX was one of my favs so I'm gonna ignore that comment. I will say that FFXII did suck in the sense that it had a crap storyline, crap characterisation, crap interaltionships but it's side quests and battlesystem were great.Admitadly I hated the dodgy storyline and such I didn't get into it. I passed it very easily (with active) and the ending to the game was by far the worst of any FF game!
