I've never played DOOM, but the screens i see of it look like that screen you posted ... is it perhaps DOOM?
What causes more lag?

rm2k(3) doesn't really have lag.
RM(V)X(P) is a different story!
It doesn't, but if you put 100+ events on any map, in any maker it will lag.

I used to work at Pizza Hut, and we totally had bacon pizza (well, bacon bits).
The Dominos here has bacon pizza. Like actual pieces of sliced bacon and it's actually all over the freakin pizza. It's amazing :D.. best thing Dominos ever did.
OMG now I wish I had dominoes where I live :(

Multiple events running at once is the most likely culprit. Does your map have a ton of monsters/npcs/parallel processes? Those make your game lag, more often then not.
If you have a bunch of map events, try breaking your map into two or three smaller ones.
And, sorry to disappoint, but Azn is NOT Cher.
Well its for a battle system so I can't really split the map, it's all suppose to happen on one map.
And almost everyone of my events are parallel processes. I don't experience any lag, but I'm sure anyone who has below 1gb of RAM will lag when using the ABS.

Same here ... It was a bit boring and the battles did not look exciting at all :|
The only thing i can say I like about it is the fact that the monsters chase you when you get near them ...
The boulder definitely woke me up, but then put me back to sleep when you still died after (what appeared to be) you doing a good job running away from the boulder.
