@UPRC: That looks really good! I like how the monsters have kind of their own thing -- a lot of games lack that kind of creativeness in just regular battles (probably because no one really wants to deal with it lol). My only quip is that when the skeleton pierce happens, instead of it looking like the monster is using a skill on the hero, it looks like a whole 'nother skeleton monster is coming and attacking the hero of it's own. Does that make sense? In other words, it would be cooler if the offending monster faded out, then faded in behind the hero.

Hello. I've been a long-time lurker of RMN but never bothered to post anything until now. I'm a 20yr old currently delving into culinary school who likes to work on games on the side. I mostly like RPG games with good storyline values (A Blurred Line being one of them), as I myself like to write very often. I also enjoy mapping and sometimes sprite work (as tedious as it is). I've been working on a game called "Alexandrite" for some time now in my little free time between work and school.
Glad to join in on the community and maybe get some input and learn some things. It's nice to have a forum with people who are all seemingly working towards a common goal and enjoy user created games. I've seen some pretty excellent stuff on here so I'm eager to explore.
