Final Fantasy: Sky Warriors
Wow, fantastic game! I just finished it. It stayed true to the spirit of FF1, though it wasn't quite as difficult.
I noticed that the enemies never got to strike first. In fact, even in normal battles, all my characters always got to act before the enemy, making running from battles much, much, easier than in classic FF1.
I never found the masamune - did I miss it or was it not in the game?
I'm not sure if you're looking for feedback/bug reports, but I found these issues:

I'm not sure if you're looking for feedback/bug reports, but I found these issues:
- the water floor in the dwarven mine dungeon has no random battles
- the water floor in the Temple of Fiends has no random battles
- slow and slow 2 seem to have exactly the same description and effect. Perhaps slow 2 has a higher chance of working, but this wasn't clear
- the heal staff was usable outside of battle, which felt broken. (so was the defend sword)
- the darkness status didn't seem to lower my chance to hit. (Maybe this was a subtle nod to the original FF1's meaningless darkness status)
- on the status screen it lists "nickname" as lufenian, human, or elf
- the exit spell sometimes returns me to the overworld in a canoe, which cannot move because there is no river nearby. This happened when exitting Bahamut's lair and the dwarven mine dungeon. I found I was able to use a tent, save, quit, then re-load and I was no longer a canoe
- you forgot to include cockatrices to turn my entire party to stone and geists to stun-lock my entire party and force me to restart, losing hours of progress. :)
Final Fantasy Blackmoon Prophecy II
This game was top-notch in every way and I'd recommend it to everyone. I loved the comic relief provided by Cid and thought it was very well-written. It is so rare to see a fan game reach such a high level of professionalism. I will probably play through it a few more times, but there were a few things that confused me:
- I couldn't figure out what Rocko, the NPC who joins your HQ does. He just seems to stand around and always say the same thing.
- There were several doors to houses in various towns that were blocked by NPCs and I wasn't sure if I was missing some way to get inside.
- There were so many crafting-related reagents but there seemed to be very few opportunities to actually craft anything. This was quite a contrast to BP1.
- The Hummingway in the sarcophagus in the Mohadmal Tomb crashed the game when I tried to play cards against him. Aside from the card tournament, was there any purpose to collecting all the cards? It was a fun diversion, either way.
- The worldmap.png file that comes with the download shows Lukahn's Workshop in the southwest corner, but I was never able to find such a place. I was hoping this would be the answer to all my crafting woes.
- There were so many chocobo forests, but it seemed like there was no need to have more than one.
- Winter is the best character in RPG history and yet I haven't seen any announcement for a spin-off franchise based around him, nor have I seen any Winter merchandise for sale. :)
