What process do you do to make games?
So, I just got back from studying for exams and doing a tonne of school work. Because of this long pause in my life I wanted to get back into making games. So my question is, what do you do in what order to make your games. Do you do the map first? The story? Personally I like to make the concept for the story, then make the map and create the game and all the related things and finish off with polishing it up while implementing the story.

I dont like the idea of so many people not talking and when they do its usually only one liners or something which seems to have nothing to do with anything.
Please consider putting attack first and auto second. It takes a conscious act to go down to attack. It takes immediate control away.
The encounter rate could be smoothed out.
I forget where that damn maze is with all the floors (very confusing, bordering on irritating) but if you start running low on items you cant go back out to resupply.
It seems to be a fun little game though.
Ok since the above I went back in the tower after the king sent me there. Once again EVERY few steps theres a battle and with monsters way stronger than me. I only went there because the King sent me but if I had known to grind about 5-6 levels beforehand I would have. Luckily I was able to run all the time while wandering aimlessly through the mazes up and down and all around. I felt like it was just time consuming silliness. Once again, no place to renew supplies or heal or anything. And if I was able to find my back to the entrance, you cant leave. Finally after going from left to right and back again, then jumping down a hole where once again it feels like a useless time consumer, I fight some flowers which paralyzed me every time and then hit me until I was dead in 3-4 rounds.
Its simply too aggravating to continue playing and I dont like saying that because it DOES seem a cute little game.
I am working on an overhaul patch which will include merchants, more npcs and dialogue and even side quests. if you would like to pm some of your ideas I would credit you for helping. thanks.

I tried it but every time I go from one part of the map to another I can't get back. So when I walk down, I can't go up again. Playing the game this way makes it kind of hard to enjoy it :(
k sorry I will fix it soon. its more because of the event on map 1. watch out for the new download then

OK LockeZ. Im sorry. Truthfully sorry but this is a longer wait time then my first game so I got confused. I must be more patient.
