This whole project it starting to sound like a wreak and your previously never before seen idea has been done and has already gotten attention as a game by the media.

I'm in no way trying to be mean or tell you to cancel your project but it seems like this is becoming more work then it's worth it on you and your team.
Additionally. You really shouldn't just go out in public and make one of your dev logs pretty much bashing a prior member of your team. It's pretty unprofessional.
