Just a hobbyist that likes to fiddle with rm2k3. Originally started on rm2k waaaaaaay back on Don Miguel's forums/website. My first game was Dawn of the Dragon, which was a very short crappy game that I decided to remake but never got around to finishing.

make sure the "key input processing" command is set to "wait until key pressed". probably isn't the case, but would be an easy fix if that were the case.

Well the cursor still won't go where I want it. But I will try out your addon again cherry to see if I can figure out the problem. Thanks for you're reply.

Now, if you're gonna come on here and talk about making an editor, by all means go for it. But don't talk like you're better when someone says something that you don't like. Being here longer(or first) doesn't give you the right to troll or be a douchebag first. TeyGuy brought up an old topic and said something completely irrelevant to it. Please correct me if I am wrong, but isn't that what trolling is? And I am sorry saying shit like "We all can make your stay so much harder if you're trying to be a douche about it." is being just as bad as he is, if not worse. Lets lose the insults and shit people and try to be more respective towards each other instead of acting like 12 year old's. If they are acting like a douchebag, then try to take the high road and ignore them instead of adding to the childishness. This is supposed to be a supportive community to help each other out and play some "l33t" games, least how I see it. Well that was my two sense. *raises flame shields to maximum* :)

The issue is that you're never even using common event 63. You're calling 66 instead. The call from CE62 goes to 66 and not 63, not sure if that's you're intention. And CE66 is broken because you're displaying at some completely unrelated variables.
Yea I am supposed to be using 63, oops lol. oh well there basically the same. I just made the 2nd one to redo to test some things out to try and fix it. I am using the zelda starter pack cms system. I will just stick with 66 and delete 63.
But yea that fixed it, now the cursor just kinda goes all over in the menu and not where it supposed to go.

You can use this add-on to create logfile where all event commands and variable changes are logged. This way, you can find out what went wrong and where it happened.
