Looks like a cool game, I'll be playing once I clear through my current list. About how many hours of gameplay?

Ok, so it's getting worse - I just got Seti and any time he uses the Tarot ability it will happen....I really hope there is some way to fix this! I'm really enjoying the game.

Hmm no I don't think that's it. What's happening is the menu options (Slash, magic, etc) turn white in color and the surrounding black selection box disappears. So I can't see visually which command I'm on.
I can tell usually by the text on the top of the screen, but two instances when it really is a pain is on the main battle menu, for example sometimes I'm clicking Spirit instead of Item; and when captures fail, I can't try again, because its then impossible to make sure I have the right food type ....
This is happening on both screen modes.

Loving the game, it's awesome. Love the nostalgia!
I keep encountering a bug which is pretty annoying. Every time an enemy does a 'special' move, I lose the boxes around the menu commands/items. Any workaround? It seems to happen on bosses and when Captures fail.
I took a look through the posts here and didn't see anything.

no other writer today can really compare to what Martin does
why do these names all start with M
Haruki Murakami? I've read him some. He's a completely different style of writer and definitely defines his own niche. Stylistically, Martin and he are in completely different worlds.
To clarify - I meant that there is simply no other author in the fantasy genre who has the command of political intrigue, breadth of characterization, and a realized world.
..Now if he'll only stop touring the damn world to finish the series....
