Hey I've spent a good 2 weeks already and I think I'm making good progress, but I really don't have anyone to check out my game and give me a fresh pair of eyes. i have the opening cut scenes, first party member, the first few levels of skills, first quest, and first area with monsters. I would really appreciate it if someone could give my game a little run through and give me any feedback, let me know how I am doing for my first game or should I just give up now lol. I know I have A LOT of work left but I think I'm doing OK for my first game. Some extra eyes would be a huge help!
Cause Tile to Change When Hero in Near Proximity? [RM2k3]
I could be wrong but I would say make an event on each tile and use tile substitution to change them how you want with the precondition switch 001(just for example). Now outside this 3x3 area surround it with events that activate on touch by hero and turn switch 001 on. I think that should work
Battlechar for my character
Can someone please help me with a battle char for this character, or maybe if you have that is similar and only needs a little changing can you please help me out? It would be very appreciated. I've looked everywhere.

Help with tree animation
Help with tree animation
I'm building a forest and I want to make some trees look like there blowing in the wind. I know I have to make an event with the new graphic but how do I make it work? maybe put the plain tree on page 1 then the blowing picture on page 2, but how do I make it go back and forth. Or if there's an easier way can someone please give me a hand here. Thank you

Yeah it's an amazing game, it's giving me a lot of inspiration for my game.. I've spent about 2 weeks none stop on it and so far I have about 4 mins of game play lol. I think I've finally made a good opening cut scene though. And pleeasse make a Hero's Realm 2 i was genuinely sad when the game was over and that doesn't happen often.

Hey everyone, I just started making my rpg a few weeks ago and am very new to making games, although not new to playing them. I think I'm making good progress and learning alot but I still have a long way to go. I was on another RPG maker forum, but started feeling a little out of place for asking to many questions.
