Hi there! I'm Yomi.
I'm mostly an artist but I also try to make games about the little stories and characters in my head.
I hope you enjoy them!

MISAO RESULTS 2023
Whoa! I checked the results out of curiosity and audibly gasped when I saw Goodbye Tired Stars and The Stairway among the nominees!! I wasn't expecting it!
I only decided to finally enter RMN last year, but I've always liked to check the Misaos results to see what cool new games there were. Seeing two of my games here now makes me want to go run to tell my younger self about it. Thank you so, so much!!
Many congrats to the winners and the other nominees, too!! I'm looking forward to checking them out! :'D

author=Tw0Faceauthor=quiesphereYes, you can show me if you feel there's something I might need to know. As for the translation, you can decide if you want to send me a non-encrypted version of the game or an extract of the plain text. For me, both is fine. :)
A German translation would be great if you're willing to do it! If it helps, I can explain how I implemented it if you have any doubts.
I've got an entire transcript available now after working with the Korean translator! I also managed to make the language selection before the main menu, so it might work better to send you the transcript and then I can put the translation in the game. What would be the best way to send it?

im intrigued by the premise. Was the game originally in spanish translated to english, or the other way around?
I'm glad to hear! The original script was in English, and then translated into Spanish. I usually work the other way around since Spanish is my native language, but a lot of the sentences came to mind in English first this time so I kept writing like that.
Goodbye Tired Stars Review
Thank you so much for the review!! I appreciate it a lot :')
The past of these planets may be a mystery now, but at least the Star Collector has fun wondering what happened to them. I didn't know that about Charon, that's super interesting!
(And thank you so much for catching that spelling error! I went to fix it right away. I completely missed it...)

Goodbye Tired Stars Review
Thank you so much for the review!! I'm really glad you enjoyed it!
As someone still not too confident on my writing, it's really heartening to hear it's good :')
(About the silence in the main menu, I thought it could feel a bit strange to hear music after coming back to the menu after the ending. I imagine it might have worked better to keep it silent if it was a whole different title screen altogether, but that was a bit harder to implement without save files...)

Guess I approached too fast as I searched through all my sources where I expected to find a script to help you out, however, it seems like I cannot find a proper solution as well that isn't a SFonts thing.
Good news, however, is that I played through the game to see at least the outcome of dying on two different planets and I find this a neat little game.
I don't know if that's an option for you (and I never offered this to someone else before) but as you support spanish and english already, maybe you want me to translate your game to german language as well? As this game is very small and doesn't offer insane walls of text, this would be totally doable for me as a little side project. Just lemme hear if that's something you want.
It's unfortunate that there's no other alternatives, but if I find time to update the font in the future I might give it a try. Thank you so much for looking around, though! I really appreciate it :')
I'm really glad you enjoyed the game too! Thank you so much for playing it!

Looks quite deep. I'll give it a try.
If you're looking for a script to get rid of the font anti aliasing, I might be able to help you.
Thank you!! It's very short, but I hope you enjoy it if you give it a try!
I did look around a lot for a way to fix the anti-aliasing, but all I was able to find as a solution was using SFonts and it was kind of a mess to set up. I would really appreciate any other alternatives if there's any, though! Thank you very much :')
The Stairway Review
Thank you so much for reviewing The Stairway too!
I do plan on revisiting this game in the future with another project! Especially stuff like Stella's power, which I feel like I dropped it there out of nowhere and didn't really explain it much. Being my first game, there's a lot of things I've put more thought on in the years after development, so I hope I can give it some more depth.
Still, if it works well as a game to relax for a bit, I'm satisfied!

Omen of Rain Review
Thank you so much for reviewing Omen of Rain!!
I appreciate your thoughts on the narrative a lot; I agree that the story ended up way too unclear. I made it to practice map-making and to try finishing a short project in a short time (which unfortunately didn't happen), but it was also a practice in trying to tell the story without explaining it directly. I'll take good note of your review, and do my best to keep improving!

Auld Lang Syne: Cat and Mouse Review
Thank you so much for such a detailed review, and for reading Auld Lang Syne!
I'm really glad it was easy to understand without playing Granblue Fantasy!
I do believe there's many other linear visual novels, as it has become a pretty good medium to just tell stories in company of visuals and sound, but it's true that in terms of gameplay there's barely any.
With this one, I tried to imitate the format of events in Granblue Fantasy (including the battle, though I had to simplify it quite a bit to make it work in RPGMaker with just events). Usually the battles in these events are scripted so anyone can clear them regardless of their progress in the game, so it's more for flavor than anything.
As an artist I end up putting a lot of the work on the visuals, but I'll strive to keep improving with the rest of the aspects in future games!
(I'm glad to hear you liked the credits sequence, by the way! I'm really happy with how it turned out :')

The Stairway Review
Thank you so much for playing and reviewing The Stairway in such detail too!!
(And it's a relief to know you think it's well-written!! Even after so long, writing and translating to both languages is a struggle (cries in spanish))
Funny thing, I didn't realize what kind of place Stella was in until way after I finished the game. For the entire development I had it in mind just like "social situation you really want to get out of", but now that I've thought more about it, I know what it is: a meeting at a conservatory! There's a lot more stuff behind the characters and setting that I didn't put in the game, but I have plans of revisiting it someday in the future in another project. Hopefully it will all make a lot more sense.
I'm really glad you enjoyed it!! As long as it was able to give you a relaxing time, it's all I could ask for! :'D
