I was supposed to release something, but things never pan out.
Hey! Nice mapping, and I for one like the idea of "fields" more than world maps.
I'm trying for a similar feel in my game, with regards of the "encouraging from paths to town" approach.
Your game seems interesting! I subscribed :)

Original Block Land Review
so... let me get this straight... you basically created a situation where the game becomes unwinnable... by design? on purpose?
unwinnable situations aren't challenges... they're just bad game design and shunned almost everywhere...
heck, even Blizzard changed Diablo II's Necromancer Skeleton Minions to allow the player to walk through them as soon as the designers became aware people had the slightest chance to get stuck.
And yes... I've played this game.

Game Plan for 2011
I am planning to finish my first game, Legacy of the Guilds, before May 2011 ends! :)
and then perhaps try my luck at a Dungeon Crawler with more scripting customization.

Fuck It Review
well krayg_alynn, I'm sure you realize that the quality of your game is somewhere in between the two reviews, right?
I'm almost finished with a review of my own, I have to say I kinda like your game, but it's not without his normal share of flaws.
Anyway, I certainly hope you continue creating games, and always taking feedback as opportunities to improve. I Look forward to future creations from you.

Great Purge II
Just a question... Would the "purged" game-profilse woud be erased totally?
Or would they delve into an "un-approved status" and become hidden but still visible (and workable on) by their creators?

thanks rpgmaker . net for providing game hosting for the masses

4 - Quit bitching and do something. If you have a problem with a game report it, comment on the makers' page or screen shots, let them know what you think could be done better, direct them to tutorials. Most people won't get better if they don't know that what they're doing is bad. Write a review/do an LT/send a PM.
this seems like an awesome approach
