Suggestion: new "flavor" tags Anime, Coming of Age, Children's, Drama, Romance
This was already sort-of rejected in the chat, but I figured if there is the smallest chance this is ever added then it'll be by leaving it in a place like here for reference if anybody ever wants to take a shot at it.
I suggest to consider adding the following new game "Flavor" tags:
- Anime (for specifically non-Western style games, beyond RTP visuals)
- Coming of Age (for games with stories about teenagers growing up)
- Children's (for games specifically made for/about children)
- Drama (for games around drama plots, I feel like dark is different and hints more at gothic/gore/gritty vibe rather than the usual drama genre)
- Romance (for games with romance prominently in them in some form)

[RMMZ] [Playtester Request] custom gfx game/high fantasy seeking bored testers
Hi!
So, I like to get feedback early but there isn't really that much of playtime for my game yet. Consequently, not much sense in doing a wider test release for kind of a playtest crowd. What I am hoping to find though is somebody finding it interesting enough/bored enough to be curious to dabble into my unfinished project multiple times, as it grows with retained/brought along save game etc, and give me early feedback along as the story grows.
If you want to playtest this, send me a message. (unpaid I'm afraid, while I'm hoping for a commercial release one day who knows if that'll work out.)
Here's how it looks like, it's an MZ game:

Here is possibly relevant stuff™:
- Plot heavy, and a somewhat serious take on a High Fantasy/Contemporary Fantasy/Young Adult mix of a setting (rather than the not that uncommon self-referential, not very serious writing approach that appears to be somewhat common for many RPG Maker games, where consistent characters and pacing can be more of an afterthought. which is fair I guess if that's not the main focus of the experience)
- Mostly standard gameplay with regular RMMZ battle system but with UI touch-ups
- Custom gfx and music, so for better and for worse it'll look and sound a bit different to some more RTP-reliant projects
- Mostly cusotm plugins, so in overall the underlying codescript code shouldn't be in a too terribly unstable hodgepodge of random incompatible things, but in a hopefully mostly consistent state
- I'm interested in plot, GFX, music, and whatever-you-can-think-of-feedback. However, you should hopefully actually like some parts about the game instead of trying to convince me into an entirely different vision, so if you don't head into this thinking you need or want to provide the deepest, detailed critique on earth that's probably good. I just want a fresh, more neutral take on thing as I add stuff in, possibly at a point where I can still change major plot lines easier than later.
- Right now expect a very short gameplay time. This really is for early feedback interested testers only
