Since Ultimate Power was my first game with RPG Maker, I mostly used RTP because I was experimenting with the software. That's probably why the music wasn't too memorable. Most of the tracks were RTP as well.
For the sequel, I'll have to work on creating better effects and a bigger world. I would want the weapons/armor to be more spread out instead of in two stores. In terms of effects, they need to greatly vary and become more spread out. Because the game was short and the players leveled up so fast, stronger skills that looked too extravagant came into play quickly.
Overall, I'm happy you enjoyed my game. Reading reviews allows me to reflect on design choices I made in order to make it better.

Still trying to get up the courage to try again to make a game.
Please, don't let me have to learn math, was terrible the first time I tried sixty years ago :)
If you have a passion for making games or just want to try it out you should definitely take a day or two and learn VX ACE. It's very easy to work with. Give it another go :)

In retrospective, I made the game on the easier side in terms of the enemies you encounter in order to eliminate grinding. It is hard to find that perfect balance between easy and just right though.
The sequel is not in development yet. But, my head is jam packed with ideas to put into it. I hope you all are the first to play it when it comes out :)

Ultimate Power
It's literally RIGHT after you beat the last boss and before you see the final scene. You have a chance where you can move again, from that point you can open up the menu and save. Unfortunately, there is no prompt.
But you can get through the last boss pretty easily at your level :)
I probably should have made him a bit more challenging, haha.

Well, there's the save before the final boss and I did turn on saving after you beat the final boss :)
Just open up your menu when you get a chance to move after the last boss.

@Roy The merchant guy fixed the old bridge to Ultair's place. After the first encounter with Ultair the bridge was destroyed (it was removed from the world map). Paying that guy 10k was the only way to restore the bridge.

@nhubi The feedback is very much appreciated. You really hit the nail on the head with what I was going for. I wanted to have a broader view of themes such as Death and Gods. I also believe in leaving certain items up to interpretation by the player. Overall, knowing you enjoyed the game makes working on it a rewarding experience. I'm happy you had fun!
Oh, but to answer your question; Kori isn't from the island where the game takes place. She's from another part of the world. The only reason she traveled to the island was to fulfill her quest.
