[RMVX ACE] Actor that isn't able to fight?
author=LockeZ
Use a status effect that acts like paralysis on the character. Make a battle event that occurs at the start of each turn, by giving it a condition of Turn No. 0 + 1X and a span of Turn. In the battle event, call a common event. In the common event, use a conditional branch to check if the other characters are all dead. If they are, remove the paralysis-like status effect, and if not, apply the status effect. Now copy that battle event to every battle.
Thank you so much! I was worried there'd be no way to do this without some kind of script, but I'm so glad to hear that I can!
Thanks again!
[RMVX ACE] Actor that isn't able to fight?
Hello! In my game, there is a character that is under the protection of the other characters. How could I make it where this character isn't able to fight in the battle unless every other character has been defeated, but this character is always able to be injured? I've seen something similar to this solved, but it wasn't what I was looking for. Sorry if I'm not explaining this enough and I know it's a strange thing to ask. . .
Thanks ahead of time!

Lamia Nox 2: Through the Eyes of Mary
author=TheRexman221author=terrorchanYeah it was turning into a real hassle... also I'm currently updating Lamia Nox 1 on Gamejolt if you want to go check that out... I won't be posting to this site anymore because of reasons...author=TheRexman221Ah, so that was your problem. Always use scripts whenever possible. Events tend to lag.
Thank you so much for the footstep script and the bugs that you found! :D I've been dying to add footsteps but I tried through common events and that lagged the games like crazy XD
So you're not going to be updating the second one? I was looking forward to playing it :(

I'm currently playing the demo and the game looks great. However, I found a few bugs:
1)A bug allows the player to walk on windows. I have only noticed this in the one room however it could be in more.

2)A small spelling error. It should be 'and leave'.

That's all I really noticed. You did an excellent job in creating atmosphere. However, I think you should add a footstep script (I use Victor's. It's really good). It'll make a footstep sound effect when your character walks. It'll add well to the lack of background music, especially if the footsteps are really faint. Link here.

Opinion On My Custom Art?
OK, I took in mind what you both said and made some more:
I'm not crazy about the lamp or side table but the chair, I think, turned out decent. Any better?

I don't much care or the default RPG Maker VX Ace furniture, so I thought I'd make my own. It's a bit more in the XP style, but not quite. What do you think? Does it look Ok? How can I improve it?
These are just some examples, I wanted to try some simple things before getting too ahead of myself. (That green thing is a potted plant gone wrong).
