o.O this game is still being developed? i think its been several months, if not a year or so, since i even last logged in on this site so...yeah...when did i last download this game? i don't remember. guess i'll go ahead download this new version and reinstall it.

edit: and this time NO cheating for me. i don't want to go and cheat then get stuck like i have in the past (remember when i had to send you my save file? yeah, that sucks).

FINALLY, found where that particular game saves to on windows 7 when NOT running the game as administrator, geez that was annoying. (had to search C:for a file named save and it came up as save01, save02, and save03.)

when not running it as admin it saves to:

C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Stevie v.d. Laar productions\Final Tear 3

no rush on the script stuff, been playing borderlands 2 again myself (never managed to beat the true vault hunter mode).

as for that save file, i can't send it until i manage to find it. tried saving a 3rd file just now while watching how many files were in the games file directory (program files (x86), i'm on windows 7 >.>) and nothing changed so it doesn't save to there, or anywhere in my documents folder like some games do. would help if i knew what the file name for the save file was, then i could just do a search and find it that way.

edit: ok, think i found out part of the problem (its a windows issue of course >.< they really did screw up when going from XP to 7, REALLY screwed up...). see the following:

sure enough, i tried running the game in administrator mode to see what would happen and boom, the load option is greyed out as if the saves never existed. so i'm honestly at a loss here as i've never seen this kind of problem before. were i able to, i'd simply reverse what i did and weaken my characters but i can't so now we have a new problem on top of me getting myself stuck. this sucks big time.

edit 2: i'm gonna go ahead and post on the forums about the "phantom" save files as it seems to be a windows 7 problem and not just for this game. if someone can help me with that i'll copy my save and send you a copy.

NOW i can give you a copy of the friggin save file.

ok... well, all i see in the install directory (C: > program files > Stevie v.d. Laar productions > finalt tear3 > etc.) are the folders and map files...and dynloader, erreur (error file by the looks of it), irunin, harmony, noautobattle, powerp, and rpg_rt files. dunno which would be the save files :/

as for the script... i get the feeling that, with what i've seen in-game so far, i'd be marking off/correcting grammar in so many places... lol don't know how much i'd be able to help since i've never done much in the way of editing like that but if you want to let me look over it then sure i guess. i mean, with english as my native language i don't think i'd make it worse regardless of what i do. >.> (thats a LOT of text to go through i bet)

edit: i wonder... ugh, why doesn't any site have skype in the contact info? there, anyway my skype is treos2 if you want to talk on that any time, might be easier/quicker than these comments.
