difficulty loading games
i guess this goes in this section, anyway my question is this: why is it so freaking hard to get these games to just start up sometimes? i downloaded around 5 different games earlier and all but 1-2 of the give a .dll error of some kind whenever i double-click to load them up, i could list the titles if you want or the various .dll's (if that'd be of any help), it just seems to be a fairly common problem :/
Sonic and the Chaos Dragons
game hits a error and closes whenever i enter combat after going in the ruins for the first time... actually if i remember right thats always happened ever since i forst tried this game (just redownloaded it again), can't progress at all unless thats either fixed or someone has a solution to it
Monster's World: A Two-Winged Dragon
Short Games vs Longer Games
too short, lacking in challenge, and too easy (would the challenge and easy be the same complaint?), thats mostly what i've thought of game for the past few years now because i can go through them in around a day tops. but seeing that i like RPGs i'd have to go with longer (sometimes that adds difficulty what with battles and sometimes fun with more length and entertaining content) here, otherwise i'm just more likely to play something from the nes to genesis/snes generations instead of newer games.
been gaming for over 15 years so that plays a part in my opinion too, seen games from nes up to the newest >.>

hate to ask but is there somewhere else i could download this game from? i can't download a game this big from here with or without the download manager i use (orbit download manager) because instead of giving a estimated completion time in the download box it says opened so far with unknown completion time :/ plus that only goes at about 2-9kb/s so... yeah, bit of a problem i have here
worldmap_label_large.png
o.O i think that might be one of, if not the biggest, world maps i've seen for a rpgmaker game yet or for that matter a lot of rpg games in general, that'll be a lot to explore thats for sure
download issue
no i have both a dialup connection and a wireless connection, as i said i just use the highspeed one for bigger downloads then switch back to dial-up and the high speed gets this same problem with downloads here. it slows down to dial-up download speeds
