Rezident Evil: It Is Escape

@Red-Cube

I'm afraid not. The point of no return is the blast door that leads to the Rocket area. I put a warning, but I'm thinking I should do something like the Yakuza games do before their cut off. They ask you to create a separate save for side questing, etc.

What is the code for the elevator? (It's a short while after the Gums show)

710. 1910 converted to 12 hour time.

People seem to be having trouble with the code. I should maybe address this.

Is that your official review? ha ha

The official English 2k3 version is out!

@Large

I thought that's how you did that, but I just tried it out -- like you said, no dice. I'm not an expert, but I think the only way you could do that is with pictures and parallel processes.

I think it's still 256.

As for the text box, I'm sure if you select DISPLAY TEXT OPTIONS and select 'Allow Other Events to Move' a character can move about while a text box is on the screen.

@Red-Cube

Thanks for playing it all. I'm not sure why I made it ha ha

The enemy design was worse before the final version (yes, I know). It was just mashing the attack button. Even though I know this game doesn't have good combat, I hope to have at least made it a little better.

The intros seemed like a good idea at the time. I forgot the player might have to watch them a couple of times.

In regard to their mode of speech, it's Engrish because the game started out as a parody of bad fan games from the early 2000s -- before turning into whatever it is now.

The bug: There's two magazines. 'Leatherhell' you find in the room off the helicopter pad. This one is given to McShane. The other one, 'LBoys', is bought from the prize store in Bone Garden. Phone guy wants that one. Unless it's broken and I've not noticed.

I'd love to take credit for that, but I didn't come up with it. All the NPC comments in that area are real comments taken from various pen pal websites ha ha

@Hedge1

I recall. It was just a fun game overall. I also really liked the techno soundtrack. The game was pretty much FF7, but that didn't detract from how enjoyable it was. It just shows that something derivative can still be fun if done well.
