Don't get me wrong, I love those type of games. First thing I did when I got the net back in the day was look for FF midis ha ha Midis have charm.
Same one. The Matt LeBlanc from Ed (1996).

That's spot on. The general aesthetic is bad early 2000s RM fan game + unnecessary darkness. I miss those type of games as well. Games that had soundtracks composed of Linkin Park/ FF7 midis.
No previous knowledge of Resident Evil needed ha ha

@Superstroke
Thanks for playing and reviewing my bizarre mess of a game. I really didn't think anybody would ever take the time to finish it. I'm glad you enjoyed it! I'm still not sure why I made it, though...
Answers:
1) I just wanted to add an unexpected, seedy area. Other than the "rewards" you gain access to in the corridor off reception, nothing. Maybe I should have Gums give the player a gold statue or fine art or something ha ha
2) Nah, not really. A line of text changes. It was really just an exercise in bizarreness.
3) It was just to show that Chairman Wow is a bad guy.
Also add my shortcomings as a designer to all of the above answers.
I also felt I'd put too many instances of child violence into the game. I made this game over a decent period of time, stopping and starting. I didn't notice how much had crept in until my final tests. By that point, I just wanted to release the thing. I'll investigate that bug.
Thank you!

This is RPG Maker Hell and it looks glorious.
Ha ha, thanks. A friend I got to test it described it as "a vision of hell."
Rezident Evil: It Is Escape
It's a surrealist nonsense game that took much longer to make than you'd think. It's also strangely content rich. Huntley was just a name picked at random for the splash.

We must not allow this land of all crates and sand to exist. If we do, this is also what we have to look forward to in the future.
Go America.
So true!
Crates are the building blocks of tyranny!

what a relief
I THOUGHT THIS GAME IS MEANT TO BE SERIOUS no shit
hahha I'm glad you realised it isn't.... I mean, eh, it's really a deconstruction of the complex interwoven anti-freedom media constructs that have recently developed due to the population's hyper contact with various forms of social media. That's the one.
