I can't vote yet. Is it just me?

I could vote .... Did you choose the upper right corner page icon that says "Vote" under it? That should bring up the page to vote. Checking it, I noticed your and jomarcenter's entry has two possible options to vote on (one for the .exe, another for .rar) and Grandma's House is repeated twice (same download page). Plus there are 4 or so additional entries that were submitted and mentioned somewhere within the event's posts, but are listed as entries.

So, has any actually voted yet?
I kinda wanted to try some of the games and vote or something, at least give them some recognition, but I've been far too busy to do so.

And I'm not shameless enough to vote for my game :P (assuming you even can).
@edchuy Thanks. I didn't know how to vote before that... awkward :S

I reckon that when the event is finished, voting should be on the main page. Because that's where I was looking for it.

@neonblack23 If you only want to play a few of the entries to sample the best, I'd recommend: Rust and Blood, Suzy and freedom, Subject, God of Crawling Eyes, and Halloween Bash (this one I haven't actually played but I've heard nothing but good about it, and have it just rotting away in the corner).

~

By the way, did anyone actually do a game about "Monster Attack"? That seemed to be the least popular out of the categories, survival horrors and ghost stories being the most popular. My predictions are (not my personal favourites, just those I think will win based on the judges reactions so far):

1st: Rust and Blood, 2nd: God of Crawling Eyes, 3rd: Subject. "Non-fiction" unequivocally goes to Suzy and freedom, and "Halloween Comedy" is probably squaring in on Halloween Bash. I'm guessing the "Monster Attack" category will be awarded to Death Wish: even though I didn't exactly love the game, I know judges did. "Survival Horror" is Rust and Blood, unless 1st place winners can't win categories. I didn't play enough "Ghost Stories" to judge the category.
Final Sin is monster attack.
Town of Illustrative is
- Ghost Stories
- Survival Horror
- Monster Attack
- Halloween Comedy
- Nonfiction Horror
anyway

Final Sin is monster attack.

Along with Lost in the Woods and Resident Evil... pretty fierce competition in that category if you ask me!
Just curious, what does Town of Illustrative even mean?

Edit: oh Illustive. Right. It's your own damn game man.

Damn't Auto-correct.

Well the name "illustive" that I come up with it from the word "illusion" which you already know the meaning of the word anyway. The the town name "illustive" because it kept disappearing every month except for the month of October.
I supposed to say what is the meaning of the town in episode 2 but since you asked so nicely well I could tell you.
Going to play all of your game's and upload LPs of all of them throughout the next week to: http://www.youtube.com/user/AestheticGamer

Also aware that my entry has had a lot of complaints about difficulty, turns out most people aren't able to get past the very beginning section of the game as it's difficult, so going to pamper it up and easy-fy it a bit, and that should be released in the near future.

Sounds pretty exciting! Looking forward to watching a bunch of them. P.S. I'd recommend downloading the post-contest version of my game for a more enjoyable experience and not the one linked to in the list for this event.
sorry

Hey there I just saw your LP of my game and I´m happy you didn´t rage too hard ^^
My expected time of the game was about 15-20 minutes, so I guess because you simply looked at all rooms made the time so much longer. Sorry I had some hard glitches in it =/ Time would´ve fixed that if I had more ^^ Hope you´re not pissed off too much from playing it :P
oh and btw sorry for the partly bad or strange english in the game my mother tongue is german.

I'd put Horde of UnDeath in that category. Also, I don't recall unsubscribing to this thread. I bet it has something to do with the team I was on dropping out.
Zombies Halloween Edition was a fun monster attack game. Nocnitsa's Sideshow: Horrific Oddities looks and sounds great but the gameplay where the monster attack happens isn't soo much fun. Death Wish is awesome with a friend. They're probably my top 3 in no particular order from that category.

there was a chance to vote??? there was judge activity?

wat
The voting has been up all month and is separate from the judges as far as I know. There was a little button to switch to vote in the upper right by My Teams. Those are definitely some impressive vote totals.
I didnt want to vote in a contest which im part of, which is why at least me didn't vote.
Edit: It wasn't very obvious where the vote was, or even that you could, though.
I figured something would be said when you could start voting, I saw the vote button by chance.

At this point I'm not very hyped for the results, though.
