That's actually a silly place to put your vote. I mean, I asked earlier in this thread how to do it, but it should really just be on the main page. It's not really intuitive to think to click on a little button in the top-right corner to vote. I kinda just scrolled down to the main part and wondered why I couldn't vote on any. Well, at least some people who were already familiar with it knew how to.
I second that the voting period should be announced and the mean to vote be more noticeable for future events.
I also abstained from voting because I was in the contest, but, yeah, these numbers suck. I think the big barriers to voting were the hidden poll and the huge amount of contest entries. Wouldn't it make more sense to have, like, a top five or so (as selected by the judges) with a link to a forum topic/poll on the main page?

Those are definitely some impressive vote totals.

I demand a recount. I see a lot of hanging chads (remember the Bush vs. Gore Florida fiasco) ...

Although it was posted on the event page, the only hint of when the voting ended was "Voting Ends". Also, it would been good for it to be posted in RMN's front page to remind people to vote. You live and learn ...

I didnt want to vote in a contest which im part of, which is why at least me didn't vote.
Edit: It wasn't very obvious where the vote was, or even that you could, though.
I figured something would be said when you could start voting, I saw the vote button by chance.

At this point I'm not very hyped for the results, though.

Kentona or anyone who is involved into this I suggest that we should redo the voting so we could have a very accurate result, I mean only a few votes...
I mean it your fault for not informing some of us that voting has started.
And in my opinion I don't really going to consider rust and bolt as a winning game because it only has 2 votes nor the voting result any other game even included mine as a second place here(Hello we got a ton of second place here and even some of the creators of their own game didn't vote).

I Demand a extension of the voting period and for everyone to be well informed on the front page about it.
*Left in anger*
Well, I wouldn't vote because I have an entry, and I admit I'm not really worried about this event's results... but yes, I never knew voting was already taking place. This was very odd.
By the way jomarcenter that's not the grand prize winner. It's just the people's choice winner. So there's still the grand prizes to be announced. Just saying.

Edit: Also I would say that Rust and Blood was very popular I don't think it's a stretch to say it's the people's choice. If not for something like Grounded which received a lot of people's attention for its custom art and atmosphere. I mean even though it's only got 2 votes I'm not completely disappointed with the result.
I didn't even know this had a people's choice award or a voting period at all. So suck it jomar.

I didn't run this event.

These were the only hints that there was some voting involved:

"Peoples' Choice: Anything from the RPG Maker Web store, sponsored by RPG Maker Web!"
"Voters' Choice: 100 Makerscore"
"Voting Ends11/25/2013 06:00 AM"

and the little "Vote" icon which used to be visible next to "Details" and "My Teams".

I think the main issue was Submitting Entries and the Judges' Choices where emphasized, while Voting took a back seat. It's obvious some people (not many apparently :P) did notice there was some voting involved. Perhaps we can all learn a lesson from this for future events.

As Charlie Brown, would say "Good Grief!"
In the group wasn't aware either. I've played several games, but I also likely wouldn't of voted as I was in the contest myself.
So it has been a month since the contest ended. I think at this point it would be fair to ask for a ETA on the results.
IIRC, Only Craze's game that is left for judging. Don't hold me on that though D:

errr

cough sorry sheep yay wooo contest timeliness effort etc.

(also if chaos and i's project was completed, it would have been about the same length, if not longer. JUS' SAYIN')

Actually to be honest I only started playing Crazegam like two days ago, so it's not your fault. You can blame life instead.. or me being lazy or something. ;~;

It's all my fault. We'll hold a more formal voting poll asap.
I finished playing all the games a month ago, Starskipper wasn't far behind me, between us we have nagged Caz daily.

The results will be with you when Caz finishes TCS.
oh man we did so terribly.

there's no way we'll win anything xD
