Description
Make a fucking gaym
RULES
= Event starts on Saturday, 26th of June
= Event ends Sunday, 18th of July
= Game must be at least 10 minutes of playtime
= Must have an accepted game page
= Must adhere to the rules of the site
= Game's MC and/or cast must be recognisably LGBTQA+
= You may start collecting resources that have already been made, but not start making new resources for the game until the event officially begins
REWARDS
= Badge for making a demo (20MS)
= Badge for making a full game (65MS)
NOTES
= Make sure your timezone is correctly set! The start and end times are based on RMN's internal clock so you'll need to put your hourly offset into your settings under your account in order to keep track in your own timezone.
= Try to get your gamepage in early so that it can be accepted and ready ahead of time!
= To submit, hit the button in the top-right corner of the page banner and follow the prompts.

Sorry to those who did like it and had ideas and were inspired, but apparently a ton of people were all "You can't make sins good!" and bitching at me in DMs about it. This sapped my desire to run any pride event at all, but there were some people who talked me into running just a standard one. So, again, to those who were looking forward to the theme and challenge, apologies. I hope you still go with those themes and inspiration for this event too. I'd love to see what you make.

I have zero ideas for this. However, if there is a person/team willing to take on an old Ace user with decent coding abilites, or a new-ish MZ user who's still kinda learning the ropes of coding: Yo.
My plate is too full to make another solo event game (still got finish the final versions of the last two!) but I'm down to contribute some maps for someone (or a team) after July 1st or so.

What exactly happened with the previous event? There was a Pride contest that members were disagreeable about? And the staff so quickly conceded to cancel it?

To my understanding, no one had issues with the Pride side of the event (RMN is not that kind of place), what people didn't like was the additional Sin theme.

All this "pride" thing is... i dont know how to put it. If its your choice to be whatever you want to be, fine, but keep it for yourself, nobody cares about your sexual orientiation, its personal and private.

I agree, I am sick of society shoving heterosexual orientations at us all the time when it's something people should keep to themselves. I'm absolutely tired and quite frankly bored of always seeing unneccessary heterosexual relationships shoe horned into nearly every tv series or film, sometimes its even worse, they just flirt, for no reason than to shove their orientation in our faces.
I'm just saying, if people wanna be heterosexual, that's fine, to each their own, but I don't want my kids seeing it and getting influenced. Why can't they just be straight in the privacy of their own home?!
A loving reminder to all that Freedom of Speech protects you from government throwing you in jail, NOT repercussions from the private sector for throwing your assholery into the wind. I hope you enjoy your ban, buddy! :D
