WHAT ARE YOU THINKING ABOUT RIGHT NOW?

I feel destroyed. Went to a concert yesterday for the first time in six years.
I remembered why i stopped going to these concerts. The amount of people was suffocating. Most of the people were lower class cholos who looked like they were gonna mug us or shank us or both. People were rude in general and water cost like $3 a bottle.

You apparently went to the wrong kind of concerts.

Since you don't like the standing/crowd types, go for the concerts with seats!

Concerts are kind of meh in general imo. If you don't like crowds and random weed smokers, you'll hate it, in addition there is often not much to do other than drink and watch people play music. It just doesn't hold my attention very long.

I fail to see the problem.

Yeah, this is basically the highest point life reaches on average
I've been to maybe three concerts in my life and all I ever seem to think about the whole time is going home and going to bed.
I've been to two real concerts ever, if you don't count the Alaska Folk Fest.

One was the 40th anniversary of the Allman Brothers Band at the Beacon Theater in New York City. I didn't like it at all. It was too loud (and not like rock-loud, just like these guys are really old and they turned them up to make up for their failing abilities).

I've also been to an acoustic Jeff Tweedy concert in Northampton, Connecticut (we drove from New York City, the day after the Allman Brothers concert). That was awesome. It was an amazing experience, and it helped shape how I see the performance of live music.

I want to run a Battledome in the Fight Fest vein, but I acknowledge a lot of people prefer the Ultimate Robot Battles more.
What if I were to make the fighter building based on stat buy as well?
That way even super power potency could be based on stat buy as well. I'll eliminate powers that would make users impossible, such as healing factor or super strength/speed/etc. And instead focus on a sort of 'special weapon/upgrade' such as flight or sonic scream.
Would that be copacetic?
LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

I have no idea which type people like more, really. When you did your last Fight Fest, I felt like everyone was pretty excited about it up until they had to figure out the outcome of 324 different 2v2 fights.

Your purchasing thing has always been based around the idea of buying dozens of things, and I'm not sure how well that works with powers. "I'd like a human fighter with LV.6 Super Speed, LV.3 Stoneskin, LV.1 Mind Control, LV.1 Telekinesis, LV.5 Heat Vision, LV.3 Size Changing, LV.10 Regeneration, LV.14 Super Strength, and LV.4 Deadly Farts." Sounds kind of absurd.

For creating a character, I have no preference. But for voting, I actually much prefer the fights between characters with like 2-4 notable things each, instead of a huge list. They're a lot less stressful to vote on.

What I absolutely loved was people writing strategies in the last robot tournament. But based on the voter turnout, I'm in the minority there. Some of those fights only had like 3 votes per fight.

I could only briefly take part in the previous Battledome before getting knocked out, but I absolutely agree with LockeZ that writing up our own strategies and voting based on those of the other players was what really made it fun. It felt like I as a player had much more control over the way the battles played out, and it gave us a chance to try and outsmart the opponent instead of just relying on luck or popularity. (Some of the strategies were also hilarious in their own way.)

I'd definitely participate in another Battledome. Though, I recommend waiting until the upcoming Mafia game is over before you start a new tournament, so that people aren't too preoccupied already.

Hmm, well, I'll think about it some. Maybe therr's some non-purchase route to go. Like a weapon rack provided by the arena. I personally take favour with the rp/strategy route over the pure stat buy out style. I find that even if you build the perfect stat robot, you'll be trumped by good strategy in the end, and that could probably be annoying as hell.

As for powers, I more meant, I'd be giving secret power serums again, and you could adjust the power level based on stats... But again, I think you two are right.
Leave the stats for robots. If someone has Acid Spit powers, we have to assume the other contestants wouldn't instantly die, using Mortal Kombat/Darkstalkers logic...

Agreed about Mafia. I need to do some more research before I start piecing together the tournament anyway. Story isn't even 10% at this point either.

Literally no idea what you guys are discussing right now.
they're talking about this:CLICKETY CLICK

Personally I think we should do a Highlander's Realm X Battledome X BULLET BALLOT MAFIA X PERFECTMMORPG0 V2 Crossover, it would be a trainwreck of ungodly proportions seamless fusion.
