Game Idea: You play a farmboy/girl who goes to seek their fortune. Permadeath. Can you make it to being a hero or will you be one of the many lost in the journey?

A country besieged by evil king. Each New Game starts you in one of 10 or so random villages/farmtowns, each a different family. Roll over from previous game - you can find the bodies of certain deaths and loot them (if they were killed by thieves, then no, but monsters won't take swords). You hear about previous deaths if you visit the towns of those previous peeps.

You have x chances to make it. Will you manage to deplete the towns of their young populace before you beat evil king? Can you manage the perfect ending of no extraneous deaths? (No). Go!

I'm sorta okay with permadeath if the game is fairly short and with a decent amount of variations... And minimum RNG evade-like stuff please, getting a great run perma-dead by bad dice sucks. :(

What is wrong with me?

I always refer to my game's characters with increasingly insulting terms of endearment. Like "Socially Myopic Son" for my protagonist and "Salty-Ass Teenage Bitch" for my villain. See also "Moeblob Cinnamon Roll," "Alpha Bitch", and "Tsundere Piece of Shit".

Does anyone else do this when talking about their characters or am I just weird?

@QZ: i don't have consistent nicknames for my peeps but I do insult them a lot, especially if they're the ones that got a lot of my negative character traits poured into them. One fella I lovingly call a scrub near constantly because he, like myself, is a biggo scrub

I feel you, I'm extra harsh on my villain because they were partially inspired by general high school era negativity and whatnot. I wish I could just grab them by the face and go "DON'T BE A BITCH!!!!! LOVE YOURSELF!!!!" hahaha
