GRAH! Well, I guess I can finally finish Soul Eater, that my friend loaned me the last two part boxsets. Funimation, I do not appreciate dividing shows into "parts"! Release it in a single boxset, Damn it. Well, I am not the one buying it.

I kind of want to learn D&D but I am afraid of what crowd that would put me in. Some people I just can't stand irl. It'd be awesome to find some cool dudes to play it with, who don't snort with chortles at rolling a 1.

Portable NES/SNES systemI just found out about this today.
D&D is great, I play with my two older brothers and a friend or two sometimes, and yeah you have to have people you enjoy being around or don't mind roleplaying with.
I've had some people who just make jokes and it kills it fast.
Definitely something you should pick up though.

I don't mind jokes, or rather would enjoy a humorous game. But when it ventures into hardcore nerdiness stuff, no thanks. I'm okay if people make funny characters or choices though. I like lighthearted.
Oh yeah, for sure. Me and brothers have so much fun sometimes(usually if we are drinking) and it's awesome, nothing but laughs!

My problem with D&D/d20 PnP rpgs in general is that even though they seem interesting when I read the rule books, the only people I know locally who are into that sort of thing are not the sort of people I'm comfortable being around for any extended period of time.
I remember when one of the bassists who briefly joined my band, before I decided "the hell with it" and took over bass duty myself, tried to convince me to come over and watch a game session to see if I'd like to join the next cycle. Of course, there was a scheduling conflict, because Mondays and Wednesdays were the nights he ran miniature Magic the Gathering tournaments...
Yeah, not so much.
