WHAT ARE YOU THINKING ABOUT RIGHT NOW?

just another day driving home
looking for my baby chickadees
i sure do miss my baby chickadees
i'd always chew my food for them
they ask "papa what's for dinner today"
"milkshake," i say
"ooh what flavor"
"chocolate"
"ooh I love you papa"

I'm not a pheasant plucker, I'm a pheasant plucker's mate,
I'm only plucking pheasants 'cause the pheasant plucker's late.

It's funny how during a game that you complain about certain players not producing and then they suddenly magically start producing! :)
(BTW, Buffalo sure did "suck" last night, ugh.)
I totally want to start a community event where we make our own Pokemon game... I don't know if people would be interested.

Shit... I am this close to shooting myself in the face... So sick of these homework... :(
That's how I felt just a bit ago regarding a quote I had been working on for the last few days. Now it's on my friends' hands to decide if it will get sent to the potential client. Anyway, now I have my whole weekend ahead of me ... Whoopee!
And Mr_D, don't do it! "You'll shoot your eye out" (A quote from A Christmas Story)
I'm probably just too stupid for the field. There goes my dream to become an engineer or a game designer. I was confident in high school, but now I just cringe when I see numbers or codes. :|

Believing you can't change because of an outside force, or "I'm stupid" then you'll never be able to do it.There goes my dream to become an engineer or a game designer. Wait, what does calculus have to do with game design?

Believing you can't change because of an outside force, or "I'm stupid" then you'll never be able to do it. I would have never believed it, but now I have to admit that I no longer have any passion for it. Every time I do the assignments, it's like mental torturing. Yeah, I know. I'm just ranting, but this sucks so bad!!!!1111oneone!!!! There goes my dream to become an engineer or a game designer. How the heck should I know? I just know that getting a CS degree is at least a guarantee to have a job with higher payment, as opposed to having nothing. And that requires Calculus and two or three higher level math classes, but I forgot what they are called. But then again, even if I can get around Calculus, I still have to put up with C++. :(
I have to go study for my Japanese quiz now. I was supposed to study for it yesterday but I spent the entire day on Calculus and the class is in 2 hours. XD
Does low-level engine design require calculus? I thought it was mostly geometry, algebra, vector math, etc. I mean, obviously finishing a computer science degree can't hurt your chances of getting a game programming job but...
Well, as far as game design goes, I've been using Unity for like three years now and I've long since forgotten Calculus 1-4. I use physics and algebra all the time, though. I don't know about programming/game engines, but I'm having a hard time even imagining where I would use calc as a designer/scripter.
EDIT: When it comes to programming, having the degree is more important, but if you just want to work in design and can handle C# you already have an advantage over 90% of designers. But design is more competitive... bah. Game development is a weird industry.
