Man, that makes me want to play Final Fantasy 9 again, but my stupid cat Oreo bit through my power cable a long while back and I haven't gotten around to remedying the situation.
They seriously should have released FF9 on PC like they did 7; I'd play the shit out of that.

I know, it's total bullshit that there was never a PC version of 9, because in all honesty the PC version of 7 is the best version of it that there is. I would have loved to see all the models and environments of 9 (which, IMO, is the best looking game in the series) crisply and perfectly rendered. Also, being able to play it on the PC when I want to take a break from work is nice, since my Playstation is in my room mate's room.
I would take it up to Toronto with me, but to be honest I really don't want to risk carrying it and my other PS1 FF titles around in luggage, because they're all in mint condition.
Plus, well, playing it again may bring some emotional troubles back to the surface. I'd take the hit for a PC port, but maybe not for the original PS1 version, at least not at the moment.

LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

Wait, what? People are modding PSP games? That's crazy. Do you need an emulator or something?
I just dodged a bullet- a scammer called claiming to be from Microsoft and asking me to install Ammy Admin; luckily Ammy's site itself warned of the scam attempts, so I hung up. *mildly annoyed at self* I'm usually on my guard.... what gives? The aftermath of my apicoectomy must be bothering me more than I thought.
Oh, wait, you mean getting artists in particular. Right, sorry, that's for teaming up.
Create a topic in the Jobs! forum, but abide by these rules:
When asking for aid you MUST include at least as much information as someone who is creating a game page.
For those seeking help there must be:
- At least 500 words describing the game - what you're aiming for, game genre, story summary, systems planned, anything that will draw people in out of interest and what plans you have for the game itself. If you can't meet the word limit you don't have enough information to go looking for people to make the game with.
- 3+ screenshots of what you have so far or what you're capable of.
- Precise details about what you're looking for in people - what type of skills (mappers, writers, animators, musicians, etc); the skill level (beginner, advanced, professional); what you're looking to get out of them (a few sprites, 20 maps, an estimate of songs); what, if anything, you're willing to pay/recompense them with (nothing, monetary reward, t-shirts, something from the RMN store); the estimated amount/length of work (a few weeks, a couple of months, a year, until end of development).
- Past pieces of work, if applicable. This can be in the vein of written works, art, story boarding, games (even just flash ones) or anything that can show you have some sort of skill and the level of such.
In the case that a thread doesn't abide by these rules I will ask that it be updated. If after 48 hours it hasn't been, then I will move said topic to the Archives. I will not lock, so that the creator has the chance to edit and once edited, they may contact Liberty via PM and, if it meets the new rules, it will be moved back to the correct area.
In the case of rejection, topic spam will be met with warnings and/or bans, as per the site rules.

I should be sleeping. Instead I am about to play more modded minecraft and put on an episode of Cold Case and cry a lot because fuck that show, for srs.
Oh, yeah, and don't think I've forgotten about the 1000th page. ^.^

^ Well yes, but if I'm thinking of how to (sell) it. :P
Like, how to effectively get people interested. Thanks though. Haha.

Screenshots of what you have, details (not too many, but enough to interest people) about systems, story and characters... these usually work best. Also, well-written, well-presented topic. I believe there's a link or two in the pinned help topic with good examples.
WARNING: Video contains barbarism and animal cruelty/torture.
I had forgotten about this until recently, when I stumbled on the video today. I feel like throwing up. It's fucking insane watching people tear at life like it means absolutely nothing, like animals don't feel pain, like they aren't of one bit of importance.
I fucking hate people. So much.

I just find it mildly ironic that it's the first day of spring, and the first thing I noticed when I looked outside this morning was that it was snowing.

same.
not much, mind you, but like an inch.
HOWEVER, we've have a super-nice March so far. usually there is still a ton of snow on the ground and cold weather (negative teens), so I'll take it! The weather has been nice!

Same here, it's really been fantastically warm recently. Being able to leave the house in just a hoodie is the best feeling.

I wouldn't know, but having just a bunnyhug on is nice.

You know, I remember you telling me that's what they were called in Canada years ago and it still makes me chuckle.
I'm trying to remember if there's any other good words for clothes people use in other countries... like knickers. Knickers is a good one.

It's not even Canada - it's just Saskatchewan.

What do you all call "pop" up there?
Pop, of course.
This isn't a 1940s Archie comic - we aren't all quaint like that and call it 'soda'.

Knickers in Australia means, well, panties. And we don't call it pop. It's basically either the name of the brand (coke, sprite, fanta) or generic name of the drink (lemonade, creamy soda) or fizzy drink. Yup. Sometimes - very rarely - you might get someone calling it soda.
@Pizza - humans are the worst thing to happen to the planet and its population.

Ahh, I totally thought knickers were like, boxers or panties or basically any underwear. And I forgot about fizzy drink! That's what my (British) brother-in-law calls it.
One time, we accidentally bumped into a British guy on the subway and everyone got all jumbled up. He started profusely apologizing for causing such a kerfuffle, which I thought was cute and also a damn good word.
