On the subject of localization changes, I just found out something pretty interesting about how Zootopia is changing things up depending on the region it's being released in:
Apparently, the lead News Anchor character is being changed to an iconic animal from the respective geographic region?
Australia gets a Koala, Japan gets a Tanooki, and the US/Canada get a Moose. Evidently the Brazilian version features a Jaguar character.
Given that Peter Mansbridge played the Moose character, I assumed that famous anchors from those respective countries would play the Tanooki/Koala, but it seems that this isn't the case (probably just do to the cost/difficulty of getting news personalities).
Just thought it was interesting. It's a neat instance of localization changes anyways.

At least once a day I check Steam to see if FF9 has been released, and every day I'm disappointed. I've been doing this since at least Jan. 16th (the day I added the game to my wishlist). C'mon Square, give me my fix or tell me when I can get my fix.

Yesterday I went to an Anime and Gaming convention, and took part in a geek quiz.
At the end of the quiz, the host read out the team names, and one of them was:
"If You React to this Team Name, the Fine Brothers Will Sue You"

Eh, people make mistakes. I've seen a lot of shit about the React channel on other people's channels and theirs - they learned their lesson, no need to rag on about it. I very much doubt they'll be doing it again after the backlash they got.
To be fair, this isn't the first time they've taken their React-to-X "rights" seriously...I watched a Young Turks video about how they got angry at Ellen deGeneres for doing some stuff about kids reacting to old technology. That's just silly

I always find it hilarious when internet scumbags try to copyright shit they obviously have no hand in the creation or invention of. Same thing as when big companies try to, only big companies usually (unfortunately) get away with it.
ALL of the US gets a moose? Interesting. It makes sense up in Maine (which is basically Canada), but like... hmm. Whatever. I'd expect an eagle for US and moose for Canada, to be honest.

At this point, the internet's reaction seems a bit excessive. Maybe it's for the best though? Since they have had a history with silly copyright claims and such. I do think they learned their lesson though...
Honestly, I only ever watched their react videos though, so I hope they keep making videos?

Yeah, it should be a big deal, but it seems counterproductive to focus the flame on people using the shitty system rather than the shitty system itself. SOPA and PIPA have shown what happens when the internet stands together against the system. Why attack the symptoms, when there are much larger things at play?
