Has anyone played this and is it any good?It looks animu as fuck, but at least it's legit Japanese - and not some American weeaboo shit - so it's forgivable.
I only played like 5 hours(and believe me when I say that the game barely started at that point)but I really enjoyed it. It does feel very, very anime, but still pretty good even if you hate anime. The battle system in particular is really interesting, and it's so much fun to just walk around and explore the city because it's so huge. I do recommend it because even if it is actually terrible after the point I reached those 5 hours are still so worth playing.

It means the real story takes a while to start. It starts off more introduction-y at first and has a lot of random quests. But it's great none the less.

I've played it and completed it (about 34 hours of gameplay on my end). Don't expect too much though. I find the gameplay pretty interesting (though it's a rather mixed bag in general), but the story is rather bad (story direction is its biggest problem). A sub-par translation doesn't help either.
The gameplay was interesting enough to keep me playing to the end though, so it really depends on whether you'll find the gameplay interesting or not.
EDIT: I know Nessy was hyped about this game, but I wonder how she feels about this game if she has already played it. For me, I was slightly disappointed that this game didn't meet the hype I had for it.
It's a good thing Independence Day in the US didn't end up on Friday the 13th, that would've been a bad sign!

Well, the RN tells me that my hemoglobin count is holding at 7.8 per part. This only means that my immune system is destroying my red blood cells as fast as I'm making them. But it also means that I don't have to risk another transfusion unless it drops. The goal is to get me to normal, which is stabile at 14 per part.

On a completely different topic, Guilty Gear pools at Evo have been pretty nuts so far! The Twitch channel streaming it right now is "srkevo3".
e: oh my god nage (a faust player) is in full faust cosplay. He literally has a bag on his head and even has a damn dry erase board this is amazing. Obviously not playing with all that on, but still!
