author=Libertyauthor=FroggeQuite a while back. The tower game they've got? Stolen from another dev. Makes sense since it's one of the best games they have on their profile (of otherwise shitty games)author=LibertyW-wha?? When did that happen?
Yeah, don't go with them guys. They've also stolen another's game before and published it before the creator could, thus forcing the original creator to dump the whole project else be labelled a thief themselves.
To think I was going to check out Tinboy some time back until I was convinced it wasn't worth it due to the sloppy controls. To find out that these same people are pulling this stunt really makes me glad I chose against them.
And isn't the background to their Eaten Alive game seriously just that same skyline backdrop that people around here use for their scrolling sci-fi cutscenes with big ships in the foreground?
I didn't get a pm. Harumph.

@Kloe: Eh, give it a month or so, and you'll have a released game. It might even be magic! ;)
Hahaha, yes, it just MIGHT BE MAGIC, eh ;P
Also I'm hungry...
How do you manage to release a game before the maker does, especially small indie games? I mean wouldn't the completed game be on the computer of the owner, so you'd have to have access to that computer somehow to get it from them?
I don't see how they managed that unless the owner was really careless.

It sounds like the owner gave it to them.
The whole thing still sounds really dumb. Just because they released it first? I'd make a huge stink

News:
Rpgstudious pmed me on steam. They told me it was a virus which is the reason they sent all those pms by accident(probably a lie)and then they said it was an employee. Yeah... a pretty suspicious.
On other news, my structure mafia role has been sent and the game is soon to start.

I got the PM, too. It gave me pause, since I quickly noticed that the message was vague about the game, and sounded like it could easily just be copied about a lot of people's games. And it looks like I was right.
author=FroggeProbably? Most definitely a lie. There is no virus like that. Besides, Kentona checked the frequency of the sent pm's and according to him he took the normal amount of time necessary to manually pm each person.

I once thought about working with Sony to get my future game out there, but found out their business practices are terrible. It seems like Steam is my only one true choice since they give good deals to Indie developers.
Also, I just got say that I'm glad the Unreal Engine team does not have to put up with corporate bullshit anymore. It has helped a lot of developers out unlike in the past, and the Unreal Engine is just getting better, and better in a lot of ways.

Finished tonights session as Dm and, what do you know, it didn't go as planned. Not for the bad, what did happen was entirely hilarious. The party was sidetracking a little, exploring an old cyclopean ruined city, rather empty place on a plateau in the middle of some plains. Get to the center tower, loot the first two floors and go to the basement to find the "Unopenable" vault door. Eventually they split up so the Necro is alone with his zombies in the vault room (basement). The rest of them (A Druid, Magus, and Skald) had finished looting the second floor's footlockers (founnd some magic items and a pouch of gummies, which the necro had taken down the basement.) He had eaten one of the candies and his spirit was sent to the plane of fire. They found his body and wondered what the hell happened to him and tried to wake him up. They shoved another candy down his throat for some reason then the Skald blasted his horn in the Necro's face, at the same time the Gummies' effects would have ended, so he woke up after that. The Skald thought he had revived him, and the Necro felt sore from them shoving the gummy down his throat, so he questioned them. After a few "What did you do to me!?"s and some truthful "Nothing!"s the Skald said "I blew my load in your face."
The Necro pulsed negative energy.
They fought.
In the middle of it, the Magus has decided to leave them and go up stairs, only to find that there were in fact more enemies in the tower. He accidentally alerted them and rushed to tell the party, and stopped them from destroying the necro's undead. They formed a quick plan after healing the Necro.
Next time, they will fight some cyclops.
Dear lord.

Sounds like a win to me. How many people in the world do you think can honestly claim their package knocked down an Olympic pole?

To those interested, he somehow found a way to anti-lag a RMN game?
I'd be pretty interested in an anti-lag script, but not if the download is a .rar file from a sketchy ass site like that.
author=DudesoftAw, that sucks! I know there was a swimmer who false-started, but he was allowed to race anyway since the crowd was being a little too loud.

Is there any law against Stolen Valor in an MMO? Because I certainly don't want some punk ass kid claiming to be a marine to sell overpriced goods when my own maternal grandfather actually served and would probably kick his shit up through his throat if he were still alive.
