How do you manage to release a game before the maker does, especially small indie games? I mean wouldn't the completed game be on the computer of the owner, so you'd have to have access to that computer somehow to get it from them?
I don't see how they managed that unless the owner was really careless.
They original creator was approached for publishing by the 'company' and gave over their copy of the game that they were working on. The 'company' took the copy and changed various parts about it and then published it under their own name. The original creator couldn't prove that they hadn't 'given' the game to the 'company' since the 'contract' they used was bunk. So the original developer was left out in the cold.

Sir Redd of Novus: He who made Prayer of the Faithless that one time, and that was pretty dang rad! :D

Since Konami is practically hemorrhaging fans right now, it's reassuring to see them handling the Metal Gear series with great care and sensitivity.

Aren't there a ton of anti lag scripts for RM already? I know I use MogHunter's for a fact >.<
Also, I really wanna watch Stranger Things but I can't find it with english subtitles anywhere and the voices are so mumbled I can barely hear them :\

Me too, although I've only played "The Phantom Pain", this looks disgusting. Even Revengaence had a better plot than what... this promises.
The last metal gear i played was solid for the psone, it was a good game, and i'm thankful i didn't play what came afterwards other than a bit of 4.

Part of me wants to see this company tank because Castlevania isn't anywhere near as cool as it thinks it is. I know this is a discussion about Metal Gear, but seriously, fuck Castlevania; it's always been bad.
From what I remember: Metal Gear 1, Metal Gear Solid 1, and MGS4 are Snake Snake. MGS3 is Not-Snake aka Big Boss but is largely written the same way. It's the same character in MGS5 and Metal Gear Peace Walker but I haven't played either so I can't comment further. MGS2 and Metal Gear Rising is Raiden who is Definitely Not Snake but is mostly a fine character unless you really want Snake Snake. Rising's Raiden is good and cool anyways. In MGS2's first act you do play as Snake Snake though.
I don't remember Metal Gear 2 at all.
e: I knew I forgot something!

I'll respectfully disagree while clenching my copies of Symphony, Aria and Dawn.

Stealing a sign posted in the front of a cafe as a memorial to the senseless loss of police officers lives. Just another day for American teens.
an actual comment by an actual and very much educated individual
"Oh mah God, we are soooo, like, trendy. Look at all the justice we are , like, totes social warrioring for, and stuff. But mostly totes trends. I mean, look at my male partner, and his super ironics Air Force top and splotch of bleached hair in his emos dyed black hair. So liberates. Wow."
Just another day for American conservatives.
Cool what did the sign say?

Back The Blue
Not sure what the bottom line says, but unless it's something along the lines of "against black thugs", the act was uncalled for.
I'd understand if the words on the sign had double meaning but "back the blue" doesn't strike me as something that has relation with anything other than it's intended message. Why would they steal such a boring sign?
My friends stole a bus sign once that said something like "Requests For Short Trips Here" or something because it went so well with our lifestyle. It gave such a nice atmosphere to our living room. I'm sad that it corroded due to age and fell apart after a few years.
