How often is it normal for longhaired cats to barf hairballs?

Frequent is normal. A cat left to his or her own devices will probably cough up a hairball once or twice a day, or more. The thing is, you shouldn't leave a cat to his own devices.

You need to brush them. While a healthy cat will cough up hairballs frequently, you can reduce it dramatically by regular brushing. Just because it's normal doesn't mean you should allow the condition to persist. It's not healthy for them and they can choke or develop digestive disorders.

i grew up with maine coons (i... live in maine) and they definitely barfed and definitely have a massive amount of hair but it was never every three days. are you able to take her to a vet? they're gonna be able to help you more than rpg maker network

I am fortunate in that I live in a nice quiet neighborhood with no kids. I need not resort to any tricks, as I can have my light on, and have no one show up. I bought the candy, 'planned to give it out', and as I don't like to waste I'll have to take care of it myself.

My other suggestion which probably isn't viable is to turn your yard into a maze with Halloween decorations to make it hard to get to your door. Apartments don't usually have much of a yard though so this may not be an option.

Sounds messed up. From what I've gathered, you simply asked on a site about their affiliate site. Given the fact it's a site they support, I don't really understand how asking about it could be considered a bait topic. It's not your fault the discussion spiraled out of control, and I doubt you could of known about any drama that happened in the past (in which case the past is the past).

Heh that's always good. I'm also fairly convinced my friend has passed out somewhere before making it back to his pc at this point. Looks like I'll either be switching games, or reading more of my book.

It's a miracle, I got the whole thing resolved. So the story goes the Moderators had enough with the other community, and told me their side of the story. So basically I was right when I said both communities are kind of bitter with each other.
