Man, please don't take your ball and go home. I've tried that twice in the past and it takes a lot of effort to undo. Whether it's writing/resubmitting a hundred more reviews because I lost my temper or crawling back to people on Facebook because I thought I was being a miscreant, it's so much easier to just accept my fallenness, breathe and come back later without burning anything.

I would like to add that i find talks about final fantasy seven exhilarating but that's just me.
Well I've never played the game and have nothing to contribute so I kinda agree. That being said I don't mind people talking about games and I'm not gonna ruin everyone else's fun just because I can't join in. It's nice to have like at least two ongoing topics on here at once though.
Man, this cold brewed coffee is better than I was expecting. I mean, normally, when I want to make an iced coffe i just brew it and stick it in the fridge, but actually just letting the grounds sit in cold water for a bunch of hours really makes for a better, milder flavor.

But, realtalk, I will still do my, fairly regular, take on the whole "gamer as hate group" thing. It's been a number of years since gamergaters openly bumfucked the word gamer for everyone. And in the beginning I too was hesitant to go ahead and continue to call myself a gamer.
But then I thought: I've been playing games for thirty years. Will I let a bunch of whiny reactionary kids come in and take over what I love like this? No of course not.
Of course I also won't say "no, none of this happened, the people who did that aren't true gamers". It all happened. The assholes are real. We should do what we can to stop all that fucking hate.
But obviously we are just a cesspool of a community where everyone's a fucking useless jackass.
