Anyway, I don't see what is anti town about that, but if you really want me to explain I can do it in one sentence:
I got a rather derpy role of audience member, and was disappointed, so I mentioned it.
...Or you could be faux-claiming in order to lead people off the track. Just throwing that possibility out there.

Yeah, and vanilla town is the easiest role to fake claim, obviously. Not to mention that the mafia know at least one person not to kill if you're telling the truth. OR you could be a town power role claiming vanilla to keep the mafia away from you...but I doubt that.
I was actually just saying it to it say I was dissappointed. But, not being killed by villains sounds good too.
I just recall how Dudesoft and MrChearlie claimed what were essentially vanilla roles last round and ended up as mafia. It's on observation that I can't totally discard for Gourd's claim.

I am glad I made it, It is actually time to go bed but I couldn't handle not checking how this is going... the only thing I can say is that I can't trust in yellowjester, his avatar is pretty creepy, makes me feel suspicious about him.
