Cadeon's ploy worked! With a grin he gets up just as he hears the Adamantoise bellow "I AM HUNGER!". The rumbley voice chills his spine.
Cadeon studies the beast as it lumbers towards him and Kyle. There are no obvious weaknesses, and his glaive wouldn't penetrate that armor...except his mouth...
Cadeon gets an idea.
"Hey Kyle, give me an apple."
ACTION: Get an apple from Kyle.

OOC: My post is edited. The end result is till the same, Kyle just walks instead of crawling.

A mysterious mystery person has joined the game (big reveal: it's Zeuzio), however he is busy in a private game and will join you as soon as he can. His adventure is set in PMs atm. All will be recapped and posted, if you care to read, at the time of his arrival.
Cadeon stares on in horror as he watches the dark man being eaten alive, blood strewn everywhere and the sickening sound of crunching bones echoing off the temple walls. He felt sick.
Shaking his head and regaining his composure, Cadeon grabs the apple and readies his glaive.
"If I time this right, I think I can do this..." he mutters to himself.
Cadeon stomps his feet to get the adamantoise's attention. The lumbering beast, who had just finished swallowing the remains of Cadeon's comrade, turns his attention to Cadeon. He begins his slow charge.
"That's it, you stupid turtle," Cadeon snarls.
When the turtle comes within spear's-reach, Cadeon lobs the apple at its head.
ACTION: As the (if the?) adamantoise opens his mouth to snag the apple, jam the glaive down its throat, aiming for the soft upper palate and brain.
Shaking his head and regaining his composure, Cadeon grabs the apple and readies his glaive.
"If I time this right, I think I can do this..." he mutters to himself.

OoC: I agree with Zeuzio being part of this game, but is already too late so I guess it doesn't matter much now.

Kyle saw his warning fall on deaf ears and could only watch in horror as Augura was gobbled by the adamantoise, his bones effortlessly broken so that his body could fit in the beast's mouth, blood dripping from the corners of its mouth after the deed was done.
Kyle was a hunter, and he had slain countless creatures, but he was not a soldier. He usually worked alone, and the gruesome killing of a fellow human being was not a sight he was accustomed to. He had seen the aftermath of a beast's rampage before, but watching it right in front of his eyes was something else entirely. He felt a loss of balance, hunched himself against a wall, and the remains of the apple he had eaten earlier exited his mouth.

RESULT: Your attack is away, but does it hit? Yop! The addled brain of this turtle nommed the apple immediately, opening his jowls in time to receive your deceptive plan!
The critical hit rips through the Adamantoise's skull and through the other side. A victory!

RESULT: On cue, you chant the Victory Song that raises morale a smidge. The message that you are still alive comes through to all comrads.

RESULT: Room 4's puzzle has been complete, but mysteriously, the north door is closed.
Behind you, Beliette's beautiful song of triumph raises your spirits a little. It cannot deny the events that just transpired, but it can make you regain your mental strength.

The north door opens. A ear-splitting siren errupts through the ruins...
Exits are North, South and East, whence you came.

Both for you all and my headache. I can only think of one thing you all missed, but you HAVE to do it eventually, so I'm not worried.

The song, while inappropriately cheery for the moment, maneged to lift Kyle's spirits enough for him to be able to think reasonably. He noticed the newly opened door and called his comrades.
"Hey! A door just opened over there! I'm gonna go check it out!"

Wiping the blood and brain bits from his glaive on some dark cloth remains he found near the adamantoise, Cadeon sighed. His heart rate was starting to calm down and the reality of the death he just witnessed was starting to hit home. But then a pleasing song filled the room and lifted his spirits somewhat.
With a stoic nod, Cadeon followed his comrade into nearby room.

As Cadeon catches up, Kyle turns to him.
"You're crazy, but it's hard to argue against crazy when it gets results."
Kyle takes a small pause, nods and smirks.
"You're my favorite kind of crazy."

"I do what I do when I do what I do," Cadeon coolly replies. And then he remembered something.
AMENDED ACTION: Return to room 5 and collect any items and equipment Augura might have left behind.

Action: Pray for Augura soul and scold Cadeon (the last with no influences of his actions, just flavor), then follow Kyle.
Finally recovered from the shock of seeing an adamantoise so hungry and so close (or maybe it was bad internet...hard to tell in the end), Augura finally came back to his senses.
'Haha, that was something!' Augura smiled at Cadeon's handiwork...a little ashamed he hadn't charged in himself.
Action: follow into room 4.
