Because he said Despite is probably scum. Then Despite said he can check people's alignment.

And? Why are we believing that claim when it was just callously tossed out into the open? Why is Mirror's belief that Despite is scum evidence of Mirror being scum when he is not acting like a scum mirror?

In fact, Despite has played long enough to know that just claiming for reason when we don't even know if we have any protection roles is not wise. Of course, he seems to have his own protection of sort, in the form of his scumteam. Hold on, let me change my list.

The fact is, I think you are scum. And you are putting faith in Despite over Mirrormasq for seemingly no reason, so he is probably also scum. And also because of this:

Despite posted multiple times on the forums in the Love Systems thread between those two times. There would be no reason for him to not investigate anyone. Ergo, he has no such power.

I've been drunk the past two days, I really don't feel like reading this thread when I'm not sober for obvious reasons. If you'd idle irc you'd know I'd be useless drunk and I'd still miss the night phase.

But as said you can investigate me at your leisure, I'll be investigating mirror tonight. I want to lynch him for him attacking me for no reason, but cave makes a good defense for him so for now I'm going to wait.

I'm not putting faith on him over MM. I've even retracted my vote on him. I've said it before, Despite claims to be a cop of some sort. But MM said before he was sure I'm a demon and Despite a scum (a subtle hint that he's probably a cop of some sort too, or have an item that can check people's alignment.) And that contradicts each other.

I do remember him posting in the Love System thread, I didn't knew or check it was the same time at night phase. You may be right that he has no such power, or there's a possibility of him not caring about the game at all (he didn't even bother to investigate anyone on PW and only once.)

Well if you guys want you can lynch/investigate me, all I'm saying is you guys would really be wasting a good lynch.

The problem is that lurking is the exact same thing newcomers who were mafia did. It's more of when she chose to lurk then the lurking itself.

It's the best reason to lynch her if it's her very first game. Jeroen_Sol's first game on the forums was FF2 mafia, and he did not lurk at all. Itrombe did lurk, and he was scum.

So Despite is town, but if he is scum, he is a godfather. And mirror not acting like scum mirror is a ploy. In these posts of recent, you attempt to cast doubt on both Mirror and Despite, and you say that you believe that they are both cops of some kind, AND that their claims are contradictory.
