On a related note, lynch Liberty. I don't believe a word of this this aligned with the town/no powers story and her confusion sounds fake to me. Lynching an independent is a fine plan for day 1 when we have had zero cop investigations.

Looking it up, a Vigilante is someone who is on the townies side who can kill, but I don't have any powers so maybe Mad Vigilante is someone who can't kill? IDK >.<;

I remembered there was a role called "mad doctor"(?) that dies if they visit scum? Is it the same with "mad vigilante" too?
Also, Liberty saying she has no power is kinda suspicious. Since, well, you're an independent, you gotta at least have something special or an 'upperhand' from both townies & scums, right? Unless chearlie wants to see us screw each other.

I care less about the lack of powers and more about the "wins with town but it still independent" line. The only thing that sets an independent apart from town and scum is that they have their own win condition.
What I know:
- Apparently I'm some type of Independant with townie leanings.
- I have no powers, though I might, maybe?
- I have no powers that I know of.
- If the townies die, I lose.

I mean, how am I supposed to prove that I'm town leaning? It says I'm an independant. It says I lose if the town loses. My flavour says I have connections with the town - I guess that's to explain my win condition?

So... you're mafia? Because with my town leaning the only people I'd back-stab would be mafia. That's quite a slip of the tongue there, cave.
Which is odd, considering you've claimed day-time lie-detector. The only one who could back you up is yourself and I'm sorry if I don't feel safe believing your say-so. In fact, you could have checked me out to see if I'm mafia but you used Despite instead. It'd be convenient for a self-proclaimed lie-detector to pretend to use their powers to verify their partners' innocence.
Why didn't you use it on me, since you were so suspicious of me? Were you setting up an alibi for you and your mafia friends? I mean, sure, we could all believe you that Despite is innocent. Even if we didn't believe you, who would take a chance taking him out and being labelled as mafia? It's basically the perfect cover.

if liberty is indeed independent, town has nothing to lose by lynching her, but as I said, I will wait until everyone posts.
If ivoryjones can confirm to us that her twin has contacted us, that is one more piece of information that can help us decide.

And I might confirm that my twin has posted, but note that I can't in any form confirm what my twin's alignment is.
I am quite suspicious at gourd too (or he's probably slow to sarcasm?), but right now I've got my eye on Lib.
If Cave is mafia, then that means he's either
a) lying about Despite's position as townie

No, because you aren't town-leading independent, because that role makes no sense. If you win with the town, you are town. You are regular independent.

And, from the very start, it has been a lie. I've said multiple times that my lie detector thing was a bluff to see who would react first because the first person to say "I am not mafia" would be town. That person was Despite. And as this has been said multiple times, I have to believe that you are being disingenuous with this line of attack.
