Cave, mainly I said that half in jest and half because I'm sick of games taking a bajillion years to go anywhere. Also, you were the one who brought up lynching MM - I basically said the same, but added an 'if he's wrong' on the end because it would be a mafia move to try and push for town lynch.
That said, my Cave-dar isn't going off so for the moment I'm pretty sure you're not scum. Personally, I think you might be Indie, though.
Lastly, did you not see the 'it's not a good plan, but it is a plan.' line? It's an invitation for people to start planning.
That said, you'll notice I've actually yet to lynch vote anyone. Again, I don't like making a lynch on the first day with little-to-no evidence of anything. Personally I think we should just no lynch and see what we can learn from night actions.
After everyone's had their say, of course.

Well, there are many synonyms for joke. Better to read the posts than look for just the one word.
That said, even with my current suspicions, there's not much there except scummy feels and even those can't really be counted on. Add in that my head is full of other things at the moment and I really don't have a good read on anyone but Cave, and him only because my inner Cave-dar isn't going off.
He is playing differently to how he does as town, but I just don't think he's mafia. It's a gut feeling though, so take that as you will. I know it won't be useful as evidence of any sort.

Because while cave laid out concrete reasons (I really have to admit it wasn't a particularly smart move for MM to vote for cave first), you voted for him because he didn't 'went along' with the plan. He's cop, so he ofc wouldn't want himself to be in the spotlight (though he already kinda was with cave's bickering and crap.) With him dead, and shinan's alignment, ofc you are gonna look suspicious.
I'll be honest though, I'm the same as liberty RE cave's alignment. I don't think he's mafia, probably indi.

I think the lack of flavour is throwing me off, really. I like to know who my character is and where they fit in the world of mafia, even if it's something completely made up. With none... well, it's harder to feel connected to the game - at least for me. >.<;

I had other reasons for voting MM, too. Mostly the same as CAVE's, admittedly. And yeah, he put himself in the spotlight anyway, so obviously I was going to be a bit suspicious. And, as you can tell by the number of people who voted for him, I'm not the only one who thought he was suspicious.

...What? I don't even understand what you're going on about. I mentioned flavour in passing, as a reason why I might be a bit off my game. There's no way to 'go down a road' that doesn't exist. What exactly are you fussing about?

I find it extremely uneasy/surprised that you'd actually find the lack of flavor 'throwing you off'. Most people would usually want the game to be flavorless since playing by flavor/meta is a really bad way of playing mafia.
I like a story, what can I say? I'm the same with games - if the story is good I can overlook anything else, including gameplay (as long as the gameplay isn't completely terrible). It's just a personal preference, like those who prefer Vanilla. Now, if it were a shorter game, I probably wouldn't care, but yeah, for longer games I like a bit of meat on the bone.
