80's Costume Party! Topic

So I was invited to an 80's Costume Party and I completely forgot until I was reminded tonight/last night that it's this Saturday. I now have the mission of creating/getting a costume within 12 hours.

I have some ideas but I figured it'd be a good topic to see what others come up with! So shoot away your suggestions, and keep in mind that I am male.

Edit: Might as well list the two front-runners I thought of so far:

Don Johnson/Miami Vice- Con is I need to find a pastel suit.
Risky Business- The Cruisers' character ala the classic scene. Just need to buy tighty-whiteys.

All of those are great ideas, and I even thought of Alf briefly. However, cause the party is tonight, I have to scramble FAST and Jackson/Prime would take time and effort(LAZY). Good jorb procrastination!

He-Man would be pretty easy to pull off, but while I may be in shape, I'm no He-Man @ 5'9/10'' and 152 lbs.

Hahaha, I posted it the day of the party in the early AM of my Timezone. That day was June 14th, a Saturday. So now the party has passed.

As I said kentona had great ideas, but a little hard to put together with 12 hours notice. So I grabbed a white sport jacket, white pants and a pastel blue t-shirt and rocked my best Crockett. ;D

Hair metal style. Wear make up, tease up your hair so it looks huge, wear spandex, tight denim, or tight leather pants, wear a headband, and use lots of accessories - like metal studs and stuff. Don't forget to keep talking about parties you've had, and end everyone of your sentences with "dude". Watch a Poison music video for an example of what you need to look like.
Alternatively, you can be a real American hero, just like GI Joe! Wear a military uniform and go around preaching to people about drugs and violence.
