CloseHello everybody. I normally go by the handle VanquisherR but that has been taken, so i'm now Amaranthias. Nice to meet all of you.
I am the founder, writer and manager of the Umad Mazinbro team (http://umad-mazinbro.deviantart.com), which is creating the first ever Tower of God game. Tower of God is a webtoon, that is a manga that is distributed online and not in print. This particular series has been phenomenally successful in the couple of years since its release starting in July 2010. This series has been translated into 12 languages in the span of two years. This is a feat unmatched, even against some of the most popular series such as Naruto, Bleach and One Piece. Since our game will be made on VX Ace, I think it would be beneficial to get the opinions of the community who have more expertise in this area so I have decided to register. A few of the people on the team have made games themselves, but it wouldn’t hurt to have additional feedback. This is my first attempt at making a game. I currently have RPG Maker VX Ace on Steam. All hail steam sales. I am completely inept at anything related to game making and my field of study lies in law, criminology and psychology. Great help that is to making a game.
Hopefully after the upcoming holidays, I will be able to have some degree of mastery over VX Ace. I’m planning on watching every tutorial out there!
Well, more on myself. I am from Australia and my interests lie in reading, gaming and listening to music.
My favourite manga is Tower of God by Slave in Utero and Skyhigh by Tsutomu Takahashi.
My favourite books are The Daylight War Saga by Peter V Brett (http://thedemoncycle.wikia.com/wiki/The_Painted_Man), The Mistborn Trilogy by Brandon Sanderson (http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/68428.Mistborn) and the Sandman comics by Neil Gaiman. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Sandman_%28Vertigo%29#Summary)
My favourite games include Secret of Mana, Golden Sun, Warcraft III, CS 1.6, LoL and Starcraft II
Now i enjoy the occasional Starcraft II and League of Legends.
