HOW BAD IS YOUR EYESIGHT?

I haven't had an eye test since about... grade 5? Yeah, about then. At the time I was given corrective glasses which I outgrew. Since then my eyes have been good, as far as I can tell. I don't get eye strain too often, I can see at varying distances quite well and did pretty well on that colour eye-test thing (I just took it and got an 18, which is pretty decent - especially so considering it being 2am).

I should probably get them checked again, though. Just in case. >.<;

BTW, does anybody know of any online test for differentiating colors? I'm pretty sure I'm OK on that front, but it never hurts to check.
I can see decently, but alot of things from a reasonable distance are blurry so I have to wear glasses.

Weeellppp.
My vision is a bit blurry seeing too far away but it’s not that bad. I do wear glasses; however, whenever I’m playing Basketball, Soccer, etc. I usually tend to take them off – just in case I get smacked right in the face via the ball or a straight shot from another player being a complete dickwad. Actually, I find not wearing them during a Basketball game and trying to shoot free throws or three pointers a lot more of a challenge and more fun, too.

I did go for an eye test last year and got some pretty spiffy new specs! I’m wearing them right now.

And I hate contacts. Just never been a fan.

I first got reading glasses when I was eight. I lost them one too many times so my mum stopped by them. In Year 10, I got checked and as it turns out the sight had reversed into near-sightedness. I wear glasses at all times except for when playing on portable consoles or on the computer. Stuff starts getting blurry at about 2ft, and at about 3 or 4 metres I can't make out faces.

I have never tried nor been recommended contacts so I dunno. I wouldn't mind getting them for the sheer purpose of cosplay tbh.
nearsighted like -4 or so (let's wait for the next check *lol*)
LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

"Read to me the lowest line on this eye chart that you can read."
"I know the top letter is an E, because the top letter is always an E, but I can't actually even tell that there's anything written there, or whether I'm even looking at the right chart or not. Is the poster I'm pointing at the eye chart?" *points*
"...That's the window. The eye chart is to the right of it."
"I don't see anything there."
"Nothing? It's near the right side of the wall, about halfway up."
"That?" *points*
"No, that's the light switch. Also, that's not even the same wall."

(Then I put my glasses on and HOLY SHIT THERE'S A CHART THERE)

Figures ...
I was 10 years old or so, when I started to see bad. In school I sat on one of the back tables and couldn't see anything xD.
Since than I need new glasses every 2 years or so.

I'm nearsighted because of an astigmatism. T_T
By this time I'm at -10 on both eyes. :(
So... feeling like a mole.....
I thought my right eye was worse than my left, but tinkering around proves that my left eye is slightly worse. Apparently your vision is calculated by the inverse of the focal point in meters. Fine text and details come into to focus for me around 7 inches, which is about 1/5-1/6 of a meter, which is about 5-6 diopters of correction, considering my better eye is most likely compensating for the other, this is about right.

Yipes! I should get a comprehensive eye exam done. Fortunately, I think my vision is damn near stabilized for the time being, at least until older age starts wearing on me. Hopefully Ill be one of the lucky few whos nearsightedness improves over time.

A goody, I get to tell my story of how bad MY eyes are now.

First off, I was born cross-eyed (I also had a cone-head, but that's a different story... I also don't have it anymore, so not that interesting). I have a picture of me somewhere as a baby with a big-ass smile on my face, glasses about the size of my head and crossed eyes. It's actually a really funny pic, and I'll post it if I ever find it again. I had 3 or 4 eye surgeries in an attempt to fix my strabismus, but it only made a small difference. I am no longer cross-eyed, and people only notice my lazy-eye when I'm really drunk or tired.

My color vision is very good; got a 10 on that test, but I'm in class and did it rather quickly. I usually piss people off with being picky about colors (I have an issue when people call lavender or light purple pink; not sure why, it just gets under my skin).

I am nearsighted. Things get blurry at about a foot and things are unrecognizable at about 3 feet. My right eye is basically useless and is FAR weaker than my left. But, my vision is much stronger when both eyes are open. I started wearing glasses regularly at about 11, and will never get contacts, mostly because a friend told me I look high without my glasses. Not sure why, he just said that's how I looked.

Finally, I have monocular vision, meaning I literally have no depth perception. For some reason (probably the lazy-eye), my eyes don't work together, disallowing binocular vision. I hate playing sports that make catching integral, since I normally get hit in the face more often than not. I actually have to cheat on the driver's eye test so I don't get questioned. All the eye test does is see if you use both of your eyes at the same time, which mine don't. If you fail that, you can't drive. So, I fake it, get my license, and move on with my life (never had an accident and I've been driving for 10 years).
My right eye is perfect but my left eye is underdeveloped. If I close my right eye, all I get is a thin slice of grey and black shapes out of my left eye.

Nothing reveals Humanity so well as the games it plays. A game of betrayal, where the most suspicious person is brutally murdered? How savage.

I'm near-sighted, with -5.50 in my left eye, and -6.25 in my right eye. That means things start going blurry at about 20-ish centimeters from my face.

I got a free computerized prescription exam today (took all of 2 minutes and no need to read tiny, blurry letter or E on their sides or upside down). My astimagtism continues to be far worse than my farsightedness: -2.00 and -2.50 right eye, -0.75 and -5.75 left eye.

I'll be buying my glasses for the first time online tomorrow (it's too late and I would rather not make mistakes) and the frames will be 100% plastic for the first time as well. There made of this TR90 SuperLight plastic that's supposed to be lighter and more durable than metal ones. I was way overdue in getting new glasses, plus since I have been so tired from my long workdays I have fallen asleep on top of my metal-framed glasses quite a few times and the frame temples have become bent out of shape. This are how my frames will look:

Those ought to be the coolest looking glasses I have ever owned!

My contact lenses are so heavy they bend backwards over my fingertip.
Terrible. I have to squint to read the text on this forum. I'm tempted to bold my post but I'll refrain!

I know I should get glasses again but money is tight.
I can see pretty good, but my eyes flicker, due to them changing color or something like that, or at least that's what the optometrist said.
